This is a terrific bread knife. It has a long 10" blade which makes for a long cutting action and handy for large sourdough loaves. The blade is symmetrically serrated and can be used without problem by left handers. It cuts cleanly. It is recommended not to put it in the dishwater.

I like the length of the blade. I bake my own bread using a Dutch oven. The place length is ideal for the large round loaves that it produces. The implement itself is of good quality.

Good quality item at a reasonable price but most important: IT CUTS BREAD!
