It's actually a Manfrotto bag!
What finally sold me on this bag was that a director I was working with on a film has one, doesn't take care of it at all, has had it for years, and it's still in fresh out of the package condition. That's important to me because I destroy bags; even my fancy TimBuk2 messenger bag is in shreds.I carry my camera everywhere because on the rare occassions that I haven't, I inevitably find something I want to take a photo or video of. Until now I've been keeping my camera in a holster bag and whenever going further than walking distance away I would have the holster bag inside my messenger bag. Then add the hundred little things I like to always have with me--pen, paper, tape, ibuprofen, premoistened towelettes, a snack or two, ...--and I end up with a huge bulky bag that isn't actually full. I've been doing this to myself for years. People would describe me as "the guy who always carries a huge bag." No more!My goal was to have a single bag that I like, which was just big enough to carry my basic camera equipment, and it would be a bonus if it could also handle a full size tripod without it being a clumsy hazard in crowded areas, batting and poking strangers in my wake. This bag is exactly that, and it has plenty of pockets to keep everything separate, organized, and readily accessible rather than a mass I would have to dig through. The bonus I didn't know about when I ordered it is that it's actually a Manfrotto bag, designed in Italy. I was wondering how National Geographic was making such an excellent and beautiful bag when they're generally not in the fashion accessory business, but when I saw "Manfrotto" on the tag I knew I had a quality and well designed item.Visually it's a beautiful bag. Even the lining looks great. My only complaint is that some of the inner pockets are oddly shaped. There's no pocket in the bag which is the proper size to hold my US passport or a small notebook. But that's easy to accommodate for with small organizers like the one I have for my camera accessories such as the charger and cords. For example, I'm glad they didn't put wallet like organizers in it with slots for bank cards and such, because I have a wallet for that.Bottom Line: I couldn't be happier with this bag purchase, and if you're someone who carries a camera everywhere, all the time like me, you will love it too.

Well made and practical rucksack
I bought this for my camera gear, and of course the look. It easily holds my 3 lenses, my camera body, an external flash and battery pack, as well as some smaller accessories, while still leaving me plenty of room in the upper space for additional items (snacks, a light sweater, etc). My 13" Macbook fits in the laptop pocket with lots of room to spare, and I do not feel it while wearing the pack. Being that I am 5'3" and about 97lbs, this bag is almost too big for me, but not quite. I've taken it as a carry on and find it fits nicely in any plane overhead compartment. I've had it out hiking, and never felt it was too much of a burden. Although a bit on the expensive end, it feels as though it is made well enough to justify the cost. Oh, and a full-size tripod does fit, but is probably a bit much (so I never really bring it).

Good bag!
Cool! Design, color, etc are great! But if you have more than 1 camera body and 2 lens, then it would be too small.

I been using this backpack for over a year, I have to say its the best backpack I ever had! It came with a little flaw in one of the straps but nothing of a big issue.- The quality is great.- Its ultra slim which I love because I hate having big backpacks.- Does not look like a photo backpack.- I have in the bottom 70-200 MM, Nikon d810, 14-24 MM( really big) and a 50mm without issue.- The laptop compartment fits my macbook pro 15 inch and my iPad PRO.I will never change this backpack for antyhing else unless its another color maybe

THis bag looks really good, but don't forget to close the zipper before you lift the bag. i dropped my camera twice already. it still survived and camera compartment opening to ground is not a good idea.

For all those with a travel bug...
I can't say enough good things about this bag. It's travelled with me all over the world, been through some horrible weather conditions and still holds up as good as ever. Excellent build quality and superb amount of storage options for a bag its size. Not a bag for replacing a full-on camera bag, but it has enough storage for my camera (Canon 60D) with a 17-55mm 2.8 lens fixed to the camera, my Sigma 50mm 1.4, my Canon 85mm 1.2, rocket and extra battery in the bottom, plus I can bring along my Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 in the top compartment and still have some room to stuff whatever else I need in there. A perfect traveling bag.

The Best Backpack!
An amazing backpack! I can fit my Canon 6D Mark ii with a battery pack, a 24-105mm f/4 lens, 50mm f/1.8, and my 70-200mm f/4 and still have room for small stuff, and that is just on the camera compartment, on the top storage area I can put my iPad and accessories plus there is space for my laptop. It starts to get a little heavy carrying all of that, but it will keep everything in place without having to shove things in place. I totally recommend if you do a lot of urban photography or day hikes.

The compartments are amazing. It has a place for your laptop and books or journals, a place for your camera gear and a bit more space for other things as well. It also has some pockets that kight come up handy. The design is beautiful from top to buttom and you can also carry 2 tripods with you. The only problem is that when you only attach one tripod to it, it becomes extremly unbalanced. So carrying it around becomes a pain.
