Wonderful piece of cookware
I've purchased many Hestan pieces of cookware from the ProBond and NanoBond collections, and so far, I'm very happy with them. Then again, for the price, it would be criminal to deliver a subpar product.Regarding this piece specifically, I use it on an induction cook top, and while the area around the coil is definitely hotter than the rest of the skillet, there's really nothing to be done about it, and it hasn't caused any problems. The skillet does scream a little when you first turn on the induction cook top, or any time you adjust the temperature up significantly, but only for a short time. All of the Hestan pieces do this.Cooking with it is a pleasure, and the non-stick surface really delivers. A drop or two of oil and eggs will just slide around on it. Cleaning is mostly achieved by spraying it off in the sink once it's cooled down. I'll scrub it lightly with a soapy soft nylon brush and any stubborn food residue comes right off. The only exception to this is the material covering the grommets holding the handle to the skillet base. Those are not remotely non-stick and require more vigorous scrubbing with the aforementioned nylon brush to get clean. I'll probably start spraying just those with non-stick spray in the future in hopes to reduce the effort required to clean them.I use one of the lids from a pot in the ProBond collection when needed with this skillet and it fits perfectly. Just something to consider if you have their other products handy. This review is for the large non-stick skillet, but everything in it holds true for the two smaller sizes as well. I have all three, and even at their price, have no regrets.

Finally A Good Non-Stick
We cook a lot and this pan is worth the money. Other pans started to lose it after constant use, not this one. The pan has excellent heat distribution and cleans up easily. Stoves vary tremendously, so you will need to find your own way, but we took the manufacturer's advice and have not cooked above medium on our crappy electric unit (thank's landlord) and have not noticed any decline in our ability to sear, fry, etc.

This is a marvelous product
I have owned one of these pans for years, using it everyday for morning eggs. It still looks and acts brand new. I bought 3 Hestan-ProBond pans for Christmas gifts for my daughters. I'm sure they will love theirs as much as I love mine.

Not worthwhile
Purchased and returned. No reason whatsoever to charge this much for nonstick, knowing the nonstick coating doesn’t hold up longer than a couple years max. Would repurchase if the nonstick editions were more reasonable, like Allclad does with their nonstick. Also, as someone who works in product design, who the heck thought that handle design was a great idea?! Food can and will get trapped in the crevice area where the handle meets the pan. Purchased a set of 10 and 12 inch T-fal nonstick for under $50. Quality is just as good as the Hestan (thoroughly inspected both). Once the coating starts to flake, we will toss them and purchase a new set without pain for $50. It’d be one thing if Hestan had a lifetime warranty that covers regular use (they don’t). The warranty is for manufacturing defects and for a limited time. It’s only a matter of time before the nonstick coating starts to give.

I don't expect it will ever need replacing!
I have several high end non stick pans from Europe. All have ended up with unintended scratches to the coating. I have yet to see a mark on the Hestan. All the quality features in their literature are obvious the first time you touch it.

Very well made pans
Very well made pans. I like the non stick pro bond the best. I have them in all sizes and have had no issues in over a year of using them. Definitely worth the money.

Great so far
Wish it was cheaper but it passed its first test with flying colors.

Quality
Good quality and worth the money so far. I haven’t had this pan very long but I love it. It’s large size is handy for bigger portions. Best of all, it browns food better than cast iron without sticking or having to use a lot of oil.
