A good tablet for the money (Edited)
[Edited June 13, 2017]I had done a full review of this tablet after purchasing it in August of 2016, but I have since decided to remove that review and make an important amendment.I had this tablet for about seven or eight months and it did good. Then I started having problems with Windows 10. After checking I discovered that it wasn't malware related. It was just Windows 10 being its usual quirky self. After spending a few days on the Chuwi forum I figured out how to reflash Windows 10 to the tablet and began that process. I downloaded a windows image from Chuwi and put that on a usb drive as instructed. However, the tablet conked out somewhere during the install process. I don't know if the processor died or if it was something in the power system, but long story short, the tablet is no longer functional.I had posted a bad review here following that. I was naturally upset that my precious tablet had died. I had important files on it and I had no way to retrieve them. More to the point, I had purchased this tablet for a specific use case and now I couldn't use it anymore. I was disappointed because the tablet seemed like it was a really good tablet for the money.A few days ago, Chuwi contacted me and offered me the option of either replacing the tablet or getting a refund. Being that I'm a bus driver on summer break and the money situation is bad right now, I decided on the refund. What surprised me was that ChuwiDirect was so fast in processing the refund. I emailed them back about the refund I had the money the very next day. I got back the purchase price of the tablet and shipping as well. I was impressed with the speed of which the refund was handled. To tell you the truth, if I hadn't needed the money so bad I would have had Chuwi send me another tablet. Even though the tablet did die on me after several months of use, I still feel like I got my money's worth out of it. The tablet got me through most of the school year and it has saved me a lot of time and travel when it comes to doing paperwork. But as I said, I needed the money more than I needed the tablet. So, even though I am disappointed that my tablet is dead, I am impressed with Chuwi overall. They seem to care a lot about their reputation and they will make efforts to fix the problem. So, despite what happened, I am giving the tablet a 5 star rating, more because of the fact that Chuwi solved the problem to my satisfaction, but also because the tablet was good while it lasted.I would also go on to say that I do intend to purchase another device from Chuwi when the money situation gets better. When you think about it, $250 is pretty cheap for a device that runs Windows and Android together and still has decent specs on it.Thank you to ChuwiDirect for responding to my previous review and for solving my issue satisfactorily.

received broke. screen was cracked below the digitizer whiting out half the tablet. was unresponsive to touch and had bubbles everywhere under the screen.UPDATE: I'v been given a replacement and while I still see some bubbles from where the glass was attached non-luminated, it does appear to work this time. Its a bit laggy at times with its cherry trail cpu but overall if all you need is a tab to watch some movies or shows and browse the web, this one does just fine and does it at 2k.

Buy it if you can put up with the cons.
Had one for a couple months now. WiFi on this tablet is half the speed of my other devices. Battery is very slow to charge even with the chuwi 3.0 quick charge adapter. If you're at 5% then you're SOL because it will take half your day to get it full. I seem to only charge it overnight because that's the only way to get it 100% for me, but it sure last longer than my other laptop. Another problem is when you put it to sleep, it won't turn back on until you do some magic to it. I edit photos on here and its not fast nor super slow either. Whats the point of an amazing screen, if you have to wait for the 4k video to load. Bottom line I would save a couple hundred more to invest in a more quality product. For the price I can't really complain so 4 stars. Buy it if you can put up with the cons.

My Chuwi Tablet just stopped working and I can't find anything to help resolve the problem
I purchased this Chuwi Hi12 about a year ago and really loved the product for the first 8 months and then all of the sudden I could not get the tablet to turn on. I had not changed anything, downloaded or updated anything and only used it on a limited basis when it just stopped working and would only turn on a dim screen. I searched the internet for any clues as to what might be the problem and I still am unsure if it is a windows 10 software update or something else. The tablet will maintain a charge and I have tried every option that I found on the internet to power the tablet back up to no avail. I am now even having a hard time trying to find out how to get it fixed and where to send it. Again, initially, I loved the tablet but am totally confused.

Decent for 3 months of use
I have had this tablet for 3 months, and I have used it for both travel and school. The display is beautiful, everything runs smoothly, and there is a lot you could do with a flexible RAM. I have also bought the Hi12 pen and it works quite well despite some occasional lag. However, upon downloading a Microsoft update, the tablet is completely broken, even if I boot to Android. I absolutely can not do anything, even a clean reboot, because it shows the dreaded, infamous blue screen of death. If you are looking to purchase the product, just be mindful of this.

Not worth the trouble
It's an ok tablet when I can get it to turn on. There is some sort of issue where it was draining the battery while in sleep mode. I was able to figure out that it was something to do with the wi-fi still running while sleeping. Then, I sometimes have problems turning it on. I don't know if it's a bad power button or what but it gets very aggravating struggling to get it turned on. So even though the concept of this device is cool, you'll have to decide if its worth the trouble.

Good product
Only have this 2 days but working ok so far. I really like the tablet and I got the keyboard too. Glad it got here fast from ChuwiDirect. I immediately did the Windows updates and the Windows 10 Anniversary Update before I installed any programs or apps and that install went smoothly but took several hours. One problem after the Anniversary Update is the the WiDi is no longer supported by Intel. I'm able to stream to my Smart TV with the Android 5.1 but not with Windows 10. I ordered a HDMI cable and this will get me by until Microsoft or Chuwi finds a solution.

Wish I had saved my money
It gets hot every time I use it and freezes up every time I use it, it's more trouble than it's worth. I've only installed a few games on it ( like card games nothing big). Wasted my money I wish I had saved up and got a better known one. I will definitely never buy another Chuwi again. Would like to give it a zero rating.
