Foldable Car Windshield Sun Shade Umbrella Fit Sedan SUV Pickup Truck Most Vehicles Car Window Shades Front Windshield Sunshade

I was curious about how these umbrella type sun shields would work compared to the other styles. I live in Arizona where the sun is bright and beaming down UV rays all day every day. I have found the shade to be easy to open and easy to close. I like the rotating arm and typically fold it back so it sits on my dashboard and helps keep it in place. I also like the velcro strap at the top that lets you strap it around the rearview mirror to help keep the shade in place. I will warn you - the shade gets super hot! The silver is very reflective and I yanked my hand back when folding it up after a very hot day because the shade itself was soo very hot. I actually bought another one of these after trying it out for the other vehicle in our household.

Works ok. Doesn't completely cover corners of 2022 Santa Fe. Definitely helps keep vehicle cool. Had it since Aug 2021, so far so good. I have absolutely no trouble putting it up or taking it down... about 15 seconds to dig it out, put it up or visa versa.

Works excellent. Could be slightly wider. Easy to use and keeping my Rams dash from cracking.

Doesn't work on ram Laramie

I loved the idea of this umbrella style windshield shade. Easy to put on your windshield. However..... the frame scratch my dash while I was removing it. I threw it away.

Folds up when not in use, just like an umbrella.

For the price I purchased six of these shades. It is compact and cover the windshields of my vehicles well. This also can be used as a sun shade when you out at the park walking but be advised it with not hold up well against wind gust so use caution. There are a couple of things that bother me but not discourage the use. First I can not get it to neatly wrap back up when it is closed and alittle cumbersome to put back in the sleeve. Also take care when installing in the windshield and not scratch the dashboard, the skeleton structure has some sharp edges. Overall functionality is ok for it's value price.

Before purchasing us I had a picture in my head that I would get my car and you know it would be super easy to put this in which it is not really super easy to do itThat's not why I'm giving ths two stars I grew up very poor and so we had to take care of stuff to make it last and to this day I still use the same thing on everything I can and I noticed one day when I went to go put it in the window went one of the arms of the well basically these are just flat umbrellas was broken so I took it inside and thisMay or may not shock you but it's made insanely cheapThe arms are flimsy metal and the connections between them are these round little pieces of metal that are so I don't even know if they're metal they're connected to the umbrella to the t-shaped plastic things like you get on your clothes and those are super cheapAt the top of the umbrella much like any other one is a plastic piece that you can screw in and out so it all works that thing was cheap basicallyAnd yes I realize is the tone of them on this site but like I haven't been able to find like a really good one yet but I did get a hold of them and tell them that was me you know my problem was that I mean a new one but it's still exactly the same waySome advice don't turn the handle at the bottom ever and in my 2007 Ford focus I push the rear view mirror up because otherwise it gets stuck it doesn't fit completely anyway it does keep it a lot cooler in thereThe old one I demolished very easily but I kept the top part because of as it turns out it makes a good reflector for the chair i sit in outside
