This stuff is amazing! There are subtleties in the flavor that I really enjoy with sashimi as well as when used to dress up some sauteed greens or to soak bonito for onigiri. The floral flavor is very delicate and not overpowering. If you're expecting super-salty or other in-your-face flavor, you'll be disappointed. Yes, it's a little salty, because it's shoyu; but it does NOT taste the same as the stuff from the store. In my opinion, it's even better, but your tastebuds may vary.I know some reviewers have had issues with breakage, but I haven't had this issues with the two bottles I've purchased so far -- they came well-cushioned in bubblewrap.

My cousin in Japan bought us a bottle for my husbands Birthday and I found it on Amazon after we finished it off! OMG it’s so beautiful and subtle we gave a bottle to our friend who is a sushi chef. Wonderful mild flavor and now our family’s favorite

Amazon driver dropped over gate and it broke the plastic lid. Lost 2/3 of the product. I rate the product with 5 stars, the driver for Amazon with zero common sense.

This stuff is Amazing... However , I found it at “Fresh Market” for $22.99.

My bottle came with the black plastic lid chipped. I wrote to the company and they immediately sent me a new bottle. Meanwhile, my kitchen had the most awesome smell. This stuff is incredible. I made a marinade for scallops out of Eden Mirin and this and it was unreal. And I dipped dumplings in it. How could you ever go back to regular soy sauce after this? I have a very delicate stomach and this is the perfect soy sauce for me.

The flavor was just ok (not like the whiskey barrel aged one which is amazing). Within 30 days of receiving it got this mold. Maybe because the cap kept popping off after we took off the protective covering? Not available for refund and had to throw out. Waste of money.

The flavor is amazing and very smooth! No harsh aftertaste which is a huge bonus! My only complaint is the packaging could have been better, the stopper came broken which makes it hard to remove.
