Love Love Love !! I could never find a "large" mortar & pestle. I have 2 small ones but they aren't really usable. This is nice and heavy, porcelain and rubber non skid bottoms. Works wonderfully and I can really put some pressure on it. I recommend this.

I recently purchased this item. Its been working great so far...the silicone on the handle really stops slipping and silicone as the mortar base helps dampen noise....I haven't notices any shards or particles coming out while grinding spices....so all in all...so far so good

Very nice product its well made and easy to use. Compared to the ones I've used in the past, this one is by far the best....UPDATE; 9/1/17 i used this item about three to four times since i purchased it and its already damaged. I used it today to crush a small pill. I brought this one just to update the old one I have and wow! I can't believe how it blew a hole right through it. Buyer Beware. Luckily, Amazon Customer service will issue me a refund.

I love it! It's perfect for small to medium jobs. It has a rubber base so it doesn't scratch my stainless steel countertops. And the colors are nice!

Works really well for crushing pills! I like the non-skid material on the bottom because you can really dig in and it's less likely to slide or tip and spill.

AWESOME I am not often surprised when a product surpasses all expectations but this one does. There is not one thing I would change about the set. Heavy enough to be easy to use but not difficult to use.
