I purchased this in order to supplement my collection on the original Hulk TV series, there are some great pictures in it taken from the original TV pilot movie but it doesn't really follow the script of the original pilot as closely as it could, you get the feeling that it was produced quickly in order to cash in on the shows success.Having said that if you are a serious collector of the original TV series then it is worth adding but it is not something that will be pulled out and looked at at a regular basis.

this book is part of a line that fireside put out for marvel in the mid to late 70's, the line produced such books as marvel origins, son of the orgins, bring on the bad guys, super hero women, the fantastic four, spiderman, captain america, dr strange, greatest super hero battles and so on this book how ever is the only one that was printed in a larger format then the others it ws slightly bigger then a magazine and way thicker. the stories start with the hulk meeting the ring master the on to the first fight between the hulk and thing after that we get into his tales to astonish days a hand full of 9 or 10 page stories from the 60's all good stuff so if your a fan of the hulk a real nice offer is here.
