This cone was the best for my cat!!!
We tried 3 other cones on my cat—a fabric one that was so easy for him to get off it was laughable, and one we bought from Petco which was more heavy and made him miserable & walk like his head weighed 20 lbs (not to mention expensive!) Thai one was so cheap in comparison I did not have high hopes, but it was the best for several reasons!1) it is very lightweight, but still sturdy without being stiff and uncomfortable.2) The velcro closure makes it very easy to get on & also adjust to fit if necessary. (my cat has around a 9in neck circumference and we did the Velcro so that it didn’t completely overlap to give him a little more whisker & eating room.3) The Velcro is super strong and stays put.4) The inner and outer edges of the cone are coated in thick(ish) fabric so it is more comfortable—no plastic edges irritating or potentially digging into their neck.5) It actually stays on! Only once in over a week did he get it off and it was because he crawled in between two large bass guitar cases and the collar must have gotten stuck between them so he had to pull himself out of it. The rest of the time he hasn’t even been trying to get out of it so that speaks for itself!6) My cat got used to this cone relatively quickly and was acting like his chipper playful self in a short time with it on. The other cones just made him lay there like he was depressed, or got in the way when he tried to do all kinds of basic things like eat or use the restroom even. 7) Even with all of those positive things it still did it’s job hitch was to keep him from licking his stitches—& believe me he tried. He eventually accepted that the only part of himself he could reach to lick was the last few inches of his tail. All in all this cone was fantastic, & the fact that it doesn’t make my cat miserable makes me love it even more!

My cat couldnt force it off
This cone came in handy cause its the only thing she has not been able to break or take off herself AND she can't lick her medicine off. I was skeptical at first cause there were a few others that bought this for their cat and said they got it off super easily or it was too small. In the beginning she TRIED to take it off but eventually gave up and had a hard time managing with her cone cause she would knock over her food or accidently bump into something but she quickly got adjusted. Only thing I wish is that there wasn't a fabric lining at the top of the cone cause she got her claws caught in it.**Little info**My cat had to start getting medicated creams on her skin recently. She would not stop licking her medicine off, running away, biting and scratching but it was required or her fur would continue to fall off.My cat hates wearing collars, getting her nails trimmed, anything that requires someone else to do it for her and would become aggressive, hostile and evasive if you tried. My cat is strong as well, I used to have a restraint bag so I could clip her nails but she broke out of it and she would yank off any collar you'd put on her. I had to wear anti scratch and bite gloves to get the cone on her and have another person helping me but after I got the cone on i could apply her medicine without problems.**

I should have returned it
I should have returned this, but it was cheap and I was busy/lazy...Problem 1) It took my Abyssinian perhaps 3 minutes to figure out how to release himself from it. I then taped it on him with copious quantities of duct tape. This kept it on him but led to problem #2.Problem 2) The outside perimeter and connection points are covered with a black feltish material. It collects dirt and grime faster than a 2 year old in a mud puddle. Totally filthy in an 8 hour day... Think of a kitty in a cone with an attached swiffer mop coating the cone and that's pretty much it.I sent it to file 13.

Very solid purchase for a very particular cat!
I was super worried about having to put a cone on my cat. She is very particular, to the point that she won't even allow a regular collar on her without freaking out!I managed to get this cone on her using the cat burrito method. Thankfully, with the strong velcro, it was quick and easy, even by myself. She of course didn't love it. Appeared disoriented and walked funny. Probably standard for any cone. Almost 24 hrs later tho, the cone remains in place. She is not happy with it, but she is very calm with reassurance and cuddles. She is able to reach her food and water with the cone. She is able to nap and stretch and move freely, just a little uncoordinated. The material seems very easy to clean and has been sturdy to her scratches. She has been unable to bother her healing ears/ fave. Overall very happy with this purchase!!

Not really sure what to say
Not really sure how I feel about the so I will leave a neutral review. I got this for my cat after he got neutered however I ended up not using it because I was a little nervous for his well-being. Cats are supposed to be taking it easy after surgery, however, after I put the cone on his head he was going absolutely wild whipping his head around trying to get it off. I actually got nervous He would have a neck injury so I took it off and bought a fluffy donut instead. I don't want to leave a negative review because maybe some cats out there like it, but I also don't want to leave a great review because my cat did not like it at all.
