Great vacuum with decent battery life
My neighbours recommended this vacuum and even lent us theirs to try out for an evening. I was a bit apprehensive about the battery life thanks to several reviews saying it only lasted 8-10 minutes, so I opted for the package with 2 batteries - I wish I hadn't.I've just tested a fully charged battery and it lasted 20 minutes and 30 seconds before it went to 1 bar. It would have probably kept going for another couple of minutes, but it was good enough for my purposes, especially as it only took me 14 minutes to do 3 carpeted rooms, 2 rugs, and 2 rooms with laminate flooring. I spent another 6 minutes hoovering the same room to see how long it would last. This was all with the brush roller running and on standard power, which is all that's needed. I imagine if you had the boost power on it would last a lot less and maybe that's what some of the critical reviews are doing. Some specifically state not. I have no idea, I just know mine does 20 minutes easily. On standard power it picks up a lot more than our previous corded upright did. When our neighbours lent us their Vax Blade 4, I went over a room that I had just hoovered before our corded upright died and it picked up a lot that the corded upright hadn't, especially hair. I'm confident this cordless vacuum does a good job and it still has the option to boost suction further if needed, but the only time I've needed to use the boost was when cleaning the car and picking up little stones in the footwell.Downsides? Because most of the weight is at the top, the head is quite light so depending on which way the carpet lies, it doesn't always run in a straight line. You can steer it to counter this though. Then when pulling back against the lie of the carpet the head lifts or skips as you pull, but if you just go slower it stops skipping. That's it. Really happy with this vacuum and I wish we had gone cordless sooner. It's so much easier and more convenient.

Nail your carpet down because this will suck it up!
Okay, this was a replacement for a product I had used for a week and a few days earlier. I had ordered a Honiture 26Kpa £147 which was a good product, I did leave a good review but sadly the battery died so I choose to add some extra and get a better product. Why VAX ONEPWR Blade 4 Pet Dual Battery? I have no pets but have historically found that pet editions of cleaning equipment a just designed better and have better features. I read reviews and watched on YouTube etc, the Blade 4 was good but the pet edition has TWO batteries for a little more cash, this is well worth the investment. So, I give the battery a charge and have a try (remember that I had been using the other vacuum twice a day every day) Well, it was like I hadn't vacuumed for months! The Vax (when on full power) digs deep and really does an excellent job. I received this product yesterday and have used it a LOT! It is still pulling dust from my carpet and its amazing to see, the first few vacuums shows all the bits and bobs, dirt and general dust, then you find that the colour is changing as this is getting all the fine dust that has been in the carpet for months, years? The Vax ONEPWR Blade 4 Pet Dual Battery is well worth the money if you want a real deep clean. Its easy to disassemble, clean and pop back together, nice and easy.Cons? Well, the battery life is very limited if you use the brush and high power. But, you have two batteries, so not awful, its okay. The roller stops in minutes so it must be really frustrating if you have only the one battery! Its quite heavy but easy to use, I would highly recommend this product but be careful, you will just become addicted to seeing the change on your vacuum contents!Stay safe my friends

Performance is super impressive, however...
Turned it on with the main head and initially wasn't impressed at all, seemed like a cheap knockoff. No suction at all, but then turned the turbo on and thought, OK, this is actually alright, however it wasn't picking up bits of fluff and thread, then discovered the motor button and bang. It picked everything up. I used my old hoover in the lounge and stairs only yesterday, so it was clean, but I went over them again with this and the collection bucket was FULL. I mean full. How was all this in my carpet? I couldn't see it. And I only hoovered (with a Henry Hoover) yesterday. So, yep, super impressed, however... all this performance comes at a cost. That cost is the battery. You turn it on turbo and the head motors on and the power level immediately drops a bar. You've got about 8 minutes to vacuum, because that's how long the so called 45 minute battery lasts when it's running balls to the wall. Should have got the 2 battery version as you need it to do more than 2 rooms. And it takes about 4 hours to charge the battery. The accessories are fine, however the pet tool needs to be used at an awkward angle to lie flat, but I suppose that depends on your height. I tried using it without the pole on the stairs and it was impossible. Its fine with the pole on a flat surface, or going down the stairs, but you can't use it going up. Awkward on a sofa too.Very impressed with the power, Design, and price (I paid 129), the battery is woeful, and that pet tool is a bit awkward. Do I regret buying it, definitely not. Would I go back to a Henry? Never. Could it be improved on? A little bit, but nothing I can't live with.
