Does what it is supposed to do and looks nice.
They're cheese knives and they are made sufficiently enough to cut cheese. I was able to get pretty thin slices on semi hard cheeses with the thin knife, heart knife, and chisel knife. Not paper thin but maybe about like a dime or penny thin. I was able to get about nickle thin slices on brie with the pronged knife. If you are going to have charcuterie with your cheese, you'll want to use an actual knife. The edges are not surgical sharp nor do they need to be and they won't cut you unless you trying very hard. You're not going to be able to process a giant wheel of cheese with these nor should you expect to. The cutting edges are as sharp and angled as you need them to be to cut cheese wedges you buy at the store. The fork and spreader work like they are supposed to. I don't know what type of metal finish (satin? brushed? I know it is not mirror) was used on these knives but they are smooth. They are not so smooth as to slip out of your hand if they get a little oily. If you hold the knife slightly angled, with the butt against the fat of your thumb (instead of totally perpendicular to your arm), the knife should not slip. I like to put my thumb on the spine for a little more control. You are not carving a wooden stake nor are you stabbing and you do not need to grip theses knives as if you were. The knives are not nearly as heavy as they look. The handles are probably hollow but they feel very solid. You could probably dent them if you are really trying to. Again, these knives are for cutting cheese and not batoning wood. The lightness of the knives could be an advantage if you were packing for a picnic. They are steel (definitely some kind of ferrous).Packaging is everything you see in the pictures for this item except that the knives are also individually bagged in plastic. When I received my knives, the were loose and a few knives were out of their bags. They were probably jostled out of their during shipping. Who knows how hard and how often they were dinged against each other during shipping? None of my knives were scratched, marred, or dented. The edges were intact and did not have any folds. Yes, the knives are sturdy enough and the edge is good enough for cheese. The packaging box is not the best storage solution (it isn't really intended to and the foam will degrade into an annoying mess) unless you do not plan to use these knives too often. I have no quarrels about any of this. This would add to the price of the set, price of set packaging, and another piece that can potentially break in shipping. The finish and design are to my sensibilities. The price is great for the product I received for what it is meant to do. There are fancy wooden handled cheese knife sets that are cheaper but they may not all be sturdy enough for multiple uses and wood requires a greater degree of care. Still, for best care, you'll want to hand wash and dry these knives (as you would for the quality tools you care about). Stainless steel does not mean rust proof. When I received my knives, ICOSA Living actually emailed me a PDF chart for cheese hardness and a short "what knife to use on what cheese" guide similar to the one that came in the packaging.I choose this set because it included all the cheese knives I was looking for and the price was more than reasonable. The quality I got was fantastic. There are smaller similar sets with blocks and/or cutting boards that are cheaper and/or similarly priced. I don't know how those are but I know this set's quality was better than I expected for the price. I like the modern design aesthetic. The icosahedron logo for ICOSA Living is also a design aesthetic I enjoy. Yes, I would suggest this to others.

Cheese knife selection
These knives were great for use on my charcuterie board, or any cheese platter. They have an elegant and casual versatility. With six different knives in the box you have everything covered for cutting soft cheeses, semi-firm cheeses, an all purpose knife for cutting hard cheeses, a serving fork for holding firmer cheese as you cut it, a chisel knife and a spreader knife. A perfect stainless steel cheese knife set! A great gift idea too!!

A Good Buy
Very nice assortment of utensils for my charcuterie board at a good price. Looked at some online at department stores and they were outrageously priced. I really like these. Good weight so they do not feel flimsy. Very durable and easy to clean. Very pleased with my purchase.

Nice!
Really nice for use and presentation on charcuterie board! To keep your set looking nice, soak if necessary and wash and dry by hand. They will stay nice for a long time.

Perfect addition to our kitchen
My gf and I bought this set because we love a good cheese and ham board. The set comes in a nice box, perfect to give as a gift, and with a useful guide where each knife's function is explained. They are very sturdy, have a good size (considering all cheese knives are small) and a nice grip. It's recommended to handwash and dry them as soon as possible.

Sturdy and beautiful
I really like that it's one solid piece of metal for each knife. I got these after breaking the handle off of a fancy cheese knife, and these are much more sturdy. The sharp ones are very sharp, and the ones for spreading the cheese do a great job. I love the case that these come in, and plan on keeping them stored in it. Great cheese knife set!
