Though the designs on the papers do make them a little harder to do origami with, they're really nice. The colors are vibrant and jump out at you, but aren't too loud, either. You can still tell that it's origami quite easily. If you've done origami on plain papers and then try these, it shouldn't be much more challenging. However, don't use these if you're new to origami and have never done it before. The designs will just confuse you further.These papers fold well. They're stiff but not too stiff. They have just the right balanced level of thickness. This makes folding easy, and they stay folded. They don't just fall apart like a regular paper would do. And who wants to see their origami creation fall apart? These papers hold nicely.Each paper is a perfect square, like regular origami papers. These papers are the smaller size of origami papers.Origami is a fun activity to keep you busy. Just buy an instruction book, or look online for how to make different shapes, and have fun! Kids can do some of the simpler shapes, too. They'll enjoy it, and there are some shapes that are easy enough that they won't get frustrated. You can even try playing around with an origami paper and making something without instructions. Origami is something that can keep someone busy for hours. It's great to keep some origami papers in your house. You won't regret buying these!I highly recommend these origami papers.

I actually got this to use in making hand-crafted greeting cards. The designs are so unique and colorful -- and the scale is perfect for use on cards. The pattern appears on one side; the opposite side is a coordinating solid color (not white), so that makes folded embellishments much more interesting (I use tea-bag folding techniques sometimes -- this paper is PERFECT for that!).The quality is good -- it's a thinner paper than many card-makers might be used to since it has to be "foldable" for origami -- but it holds up nicely for use as a background pattern for a sentiment banner or a matted focal. I really like that so many of the designs are coordinated (there's a series of designs that feature a sort of nautical/navy blue that coordinate together nicely).I'll be getting a lot of good use from this pack -- solid 5 stars from me. I love it!UPDATE: June 12, 2020 -- I just purchased my second pack of this, and I'm as thrilled with it now as I was three years ago. Very nice quality, a lot of "coordinating" patterns/colors, great for card makers who want something a little different. Still warrants 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I love these mid-century patterns. They're perfect for the geometric look of origami. The paper holds folds well and is sturdy without being too soft to hold a crease. Be aware that there are only three of each pattern so you'll need to purchase more than one pack if you're building modules requiring more than that*Update* After folding some flapping birds for Valentine's Day, I feel I need to deduct one star: I noticed that some of the papers aren't printed all the way to the edge. The paper was still square, but it threw me off visually. Also, the paper doesn't hold up well on an inverted fold and tears easily there.

I make origami dragons as little gifts to help cheer people up and send them along. I've been through two packs of this paper, and I just started my third.The patterns are clear, beautifully printed, and vibrant. They look amazing folded, I feel like the designers know how to make paper that looks great on the finished product, not just flat before folding.The weight and thickness of the paper are great, robust and take a crease well without being bulky or too thick for fine details.The patterns are fun and unique, too.Honestly I couldn't be happier, and I'm glad to see they've got another pack of patterned sheets I have not tried yet. Guess I'll have to, I hope you do too.

These got lost in shipping and were replaced without a second charge. Really love the patterns and that there is color on the back side. Love them.

I'm new to origami, and this was my first purchase of origami paper. As a lot of the reviews already say, the patterns of the paper are really beautiful and the paper is very forgivable, especially since I'm new and I'm not precise in my folding yet. But this paper sure makes it easy, and the end results are absolutely lovely. I'm hooked, and I'll definitely return to this seller for their paper.
