I was looking for a small backpack, that wasn't too heavy in itself, yet had secure pockets etc.This is just as described; actually, better. The zip to the main compartment opens up the top half of the backpack fully, but doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the sides as everything would then fall out when opened! That was the first plus. The second was the two zipped pockets inside the backpack, and another open pocket in addition to the main compartment. There is also a zipped pocket on the back of the pack where it would rest against your back if you're wearing the backpack fully, as opposed to having it slung over one shoulder.The pockets are big enough for purses, passports, etc. and the main compartment is surprisingly spacious.The straps are wide, and the metalwork with them seems sturdy enough.As with all this type of item, care should be taken I think not to overburden the backpack, it's not meant for hiking, but for light use.I am very pleased, on initial examination, with my purchase, and look forward to using it.*EDIT* I have now used this every day for few weeks. It looks as good as new, I am constantly in and out of it, and the zips are sturdy. It's been on the floor of cars, slung over chairs, dropped on the floor, used and used. All in all, I have found this a remarkably good handbag/backpack for every day use. It's capacious and strong. Definitely recommended.*EDIT 2* One year on, and it STILL looks good, is in constant use, and nothing has broken. Neither the zips, nor the straps, nor any of the metalwork. All as good as new. I'm going to buy the blue one now!

Very pleased with this backpack, as I wanted one that wasn't too bulky. plenty of zip compartments , and seems well-made. However I take issue with the description saying it has pockets on the side for a water-bottle. The pockets are VERY small and there is no way a normal water bottle will fit.I will have to find an extremely small (read 'narrow' ) bottle in order for it to fit. I know I could put it inside the bag , but the outside pockets are supposed to be for convenience.Having said all that I find it a good size and not too heavy, so will make the best of it.

I've had this bag for nearly 3 years used it nearly every single day and it's still in great condition. It has great storage. I.love the discreet pocket at the back of the bag which when worn cannot be accessed by anyone who may be behind you. Great for valuables when out and about in crowded places. Fantastic product would definitely recommend

I normally buy handbags but have a shoulder problem so thought a rucksack will even the weight.This is a gorgeous design, it's not too big and lightweight.There are so many pockets in I lose things.It has a secret pocket at the back which can't be reached if the backpack is on your back.I've had it a few weeks now, only problem in the hotter weather is it makes your back sweat a lot.I'm really happy with it and would recommend it.I bought a black and red one. Decided to keep the black one as same as my coat, but the red bag was a gorgeous colour.

It's a lovely bag but smaller than expected I wanted it to take to hospital with me but it's simply to small for a night gown.It's definitely worth buying but only for a tablet and a few bits at the most

Brilliant comfortable bag and it holds everything you would want for a day out without being too big.Very nice appearance and easy grip, strong zips on it. Extremely good value and I will purchase another one in a different colour.
