In 1956 one son Gerd Hofer Jr. joined the family business and began an internship in Paris,France with the brands Boeres, Pere et Fils and Universal Geneve. His enthusiasm for the world of watches took over and in 1965 he began working for the Milus watch company. In 1993 he aquired and revived the Nivrel brand. We are proud to add the Nivrel name to our list of timepieces we carry. There is a quick set Day/Date window in "GERMAN" at the 3 position controlled by the crown!! Inside this versatile piece ticks away a highly decorated SWISS MADE ETA VALJOUX 7750 Chronograph movement with blued screws, circular-grained bridges and engraved rotor keeping accurate time. The screwdown stainless steel caseback will keep this piece water resistant to 50 meters!
