As a woodworker I avoid putty or coloring, but sometimes it’s necessary. I’ve rarely found an off the shelf colored putty that matches exactly, and its pricey and the cans dry out. The range of colors here lets me mix to exact match, and the consistency makes easy application. The tubes work out way better than cans, less air exposure. I’ve only had a few months, so I can’t speak to anything long term, but so far I’m stoked.Also, I rarely use straight putty, and was about to toss the straight putty it came with, but this door had an ugly appliqué I tore off, leaving a nasty trench, The included straight putty spread smooth with just enough working time but still a fast dry time. I write so many bad reviews, figured I should write a good one when a product is worthwhile.

Love this set--you have to be a little creative with the color matching but I made it work. The only thing I did not like was the way the box was sent--just a little piece of tape on the original box (which is actually a beautiful box but not with Post office stuff all over it). It was lucky it made it intact with only one piece of tape....It's a useful kit to have around the house--the colors enable you to touch up anything! Won't be good as new but at least an acceptable band aid job.

Dinged my brand new table putting it together by myself, when I should have waited for help to carry. Chippped two small spots on edge of table tip rim.This is easy to use. Took me minutes to read directions, and apply. Attached photos 1st application. Going to add second layer to first pic since I didn't perfectly color match that area, but easily can with color options. I'm impatient so tend to rush things evidenced by teying to put table together by self in the first place.Second photo, near flawless, no one will notice dings.Comes with color making chart so broad spectrum of color beyond 18 prepared color choices.Plan to use this to touch up some of my indoor wood trim that I dinged when sanding the walls for painting.So many uses, good product tp have arpund the house. Even with all the colors this came with, it still wasn't easy to mix different colors to match our dining table. I appreciate the brushes and the spatulas it comes with though. Wish there was like a paint mixology table or a guide.

This kit is great! You can customize your color almost exactly. I've used it on both furniture and laminate floors, and in a pinch, I also used one of the lighter colors it on the wall, after I ran out of paint to cover up a small hole after spackling. (This is not a recommended use, but just saying.)

The media could not be loaded. This worked exactly as I had wanted it to. We had a little bit of lifting of our vinyl tile so my husband had to drill a couple of holes and pump some. Caulk underneath it to raise it a little. This left a few holes… Actually about eight holes! I use this kit to fill them and you would never even know that they were there!

Plenty of colors to match whatever color your floor is. How closely you actually match the wood and make the repair invisible is somewhat a matter of skill, but even my clumsy work made the damage to my laminate floor about 90% less visible. Can't say how durable it is yet, but I'm happy with it.
