I use my purse/backpack and carry a Lady Smith 357 with a shoulder holster and bullet pack in the bottom of the middle or main compartment. There is room for lots of stuff.

Q: Are the straps comfortable if wearing all day?

Well I'm a little older -50's and I personally don't like wearing it traditionally as a two strap back pack style. I zipped the straps together and hooked them both to one side to use it as a one shoulder bag and I think it's very comfortable. I also love the organization of it Hope that helps some 🙂
