I really wanted to find Dr Martens wonder balsam, but ended up finding this instead. I really needed to speed up the process of breaking in my boots and this did the job perfectly. A light layer of the product, thick socks, and a hairdryer on low did the trick. Plus, it helped with some waterproofing. These boots survived in a torrential downpour, the rain water just sat on the boots instead of soaking in at all.I'd definitely recommend this to anyone trying to speed up that awful break in process of leather shoes or anyone trying to simply protect the material!

It is good made my bag a little darker than before it had a rugged look before after using it was more polished than rugged…

I have been using another brand of “balsam” for years, but it has been increasingly difficult to find. Tried this as an alternative, and am glad that I did. I have used it so far on boots, shoes, a couple of purses and my leather messenger bag. It smells great, not chemically, and my items are clean, moisturized, smooth and supple. There is no greasy residue and items are ready for use immediately after treating. As other reviewers, I don’t thing the applicator will last long, but it isn’t a big deal…I can find a cosmetic sponge or something to replace it.

I use it on anything leather (not suede nubuck) - noticeably better than anything else on market

Great value for the price when compared to others. Makes leather looks healthy and rejuvenated without too much shine and no residue at all. Already used it on a large unbranded leather backpack, 2 Coach bags and 1 Dr. Martens Chelsea boots and I have years of use left. Happy customer!

If you have any genuine leather use this product , it will soft the leather as silk .Thank you.
