Dell Latitude 5420 Laptop 14 - Intel Core i5 11th Gen - i5-1135G7 - Quad Core 4.2Ghz - 256GB SSD - 16GB RAM - 1920x1080 FHD - Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

I bought this used "grade B" for ~$150 from LAPRO. I knew it was going to be a little rough. The Silver version of this laptop scratches easy as it is black plastic, painted silver. Mine has a "Carbon Fiber" looking applique to cover the top. Looks are OK. However, inside is the i5, with NVME SSD, and 16GB RAM. Exactly what I was looking for. I immediately upgraded to Win11 with no issues and removed the bloatware. This is not a gamer Laptop, but for Surfing, YouTube, and email, this thing flies.PROS:+ Price+ 11th Gen i5+ Fast SSD+ 16 GB Ram+ LAPRO vendor was quick, packaged in a nice clamshell, provided instructions, and support info.CONS:+ Lots of scratches+ Battery only 67% life left (Running power/energy savers until I replace.)+ Audio jack not working, (maybe I removed the driver during de-bloating. I can use thunderbolt jack)Watch for lower prices and you can get sub $200.

The product arrived in good condition, with good packaging. It has some scratches on the corners, but that’s normal for a refurbished item. The laptop is quite fast, comfortable, small (portable), and the battery is in good shape. After installing Windows 11 updates and Dell software, everything works perfectly. In the BIOS, you can enable/disable Intel Boost, which reaches +4.0GHz, but it sets your fans to the maximum. For my current use (web browsing/videos/light programs), it's enough to set it to power-saving mode, and it's still quite fast.

Pretty good for its price. Unfortunately, it came with a misaligned screw on the corner of the screen that connects to the keyboard, giving it a scary-sounding snapping sound when it was closed and opened. With the screw replaced though, it was perfect. It functions well, the Intel i5-1135G7 CPU is on a different WORLD compared to the Celeron N4020 I used to use. Tasks like software development, checking email, document editing, and office work is a complete breeze. It's also good for light to light-moderate gaming, but don't expect the Irix Xe to handle titles like AAA games. It's also compact enough to fit in a bag while also giving you a decent screen size. I got a model that lights up the keyboard, so having that at night has been a game changer. Lastly, I actually removed Windows 10 from the system entirely and replaced it with Void Linux, so this has been so far the best laptop I have ever owned. If it wasn't for the misaligned screw it would've gotten 5 stars. Nevertheless, I recommend this laptop to anyone looking for something cheap, durable, decently fast, while also keeping in mind they won't be able to run the latest and greatest Call of Duty game or heavy GPU intensive tasks. Great product!

Recibí el producto está semana por ser envío internacional, revisándolo note que tiene detalles muy notorios de desgaste y uso en la cárcasa. Parece que fue cubierto con papel vinil metalizado.
