Do Not Buy!
DO NOT waste your time and buy this camera.I would put zero stars if I had the option to. Like the other 1 star reviews, I was unable to connect to wifi and the instructions do not give enough troubleshooting options. The camera just kept constantly resetting over and over and over again.Look at the 5 star "reviews." A *few* of them look like real people wrote them. BUT most of the just say "Amazon Customer" and when you click on their profile, this camera is the only thing they have ever reviewed. If you look at the camera app, "Uokooer," you will see there there are only a few reviews and the majority of them are 1 star reviews.DO NOT waste your time and buy this camera.

Price and features look great...but failed to impress
I'm sure many of you have been enticed by the mix of features and low price on this camera. Me too. Thus, I ordered two of them and gave them a shot at becoming secondary security and baby monitoring options for my wife.Price: This is a 5 Star price, period. I'm sure many of you considered this product due to price and features. The price is the primary reason I gave this camera two stars overall....read on...Build Quality: Small and short. The unit is very small and conveniently sized to fit most anywhere. It will need to be propped up if sitting on a window sill looking outside since the window trim could obstruct the lens. The build is solid and does not feel cheap. The cord is of equal quality and adequate length to reach most outlets. The lens delivers a good picture but not the best so I believe lens quality is only average.Picture Quality (Day): The picture quality in daylight, or a well lit interior, is good. The quality is not great. You can see people and objects clearly within about 20' of the camera in the center-of-view. The edges of the lens do suffer from lens distortion affecting overall quality. Color is decent if a bit high on contrast.Picture Quality (Night): Low light and night time picture quality is very poor and grainy (see my pics...One of my pics shows my kitchen with all lights off and only the outside/back light on. You can see the vertical blinds due to the outside light that are about 20' away and that is all. The second pic is looking out my rear window at my patio set at night. The rear yard lamp provides some light for viewing but the picture is poor). With some back lighting or exterior lighting quality improves. Otherwise, night time pictures are nearly black. The viewing range is very short if available at all. I cannot recommend this for low light viewing. Thus, I cannot see this being useful for security or baby monitoring. I returned the two cameras I purchase for this reason.Still Picture Capture: The cameras do a good job of capturing still shots and saving them in a library for future viewing. Again, photo quality is good but not great when well lit.Camera Lag: There is a noticeable lag in camera to app upload timing. I'm only talking about 1-2 seconds so it is not an issue yet noticeable when using the app for live viewing.Field of Vision: The field of vision is good but again not great. The lens distortion limits the viewing area yet you can still see what is happening.Exterior Use: This is NOT an exterior camera. I doubt it would perform well in freezing or high heat environments. The camera can look out a window but picture quality suffers from light refection and bounceback. The green indicator LED on the camera creates its own light negatively affecting quality yet it can be turned off (per the manual). I would not recommend this camera for outdoor or exterior viewing.APP/Pairing: The app was easy to download. The camera paired quickly (using a very annoying and high pitched audible process). It took some time to pair the second camera which was clearly influenced by user learning. Both cameras worked will with the app. I did experience a few wifi drops during testing. The app is a bit glitchy but not bad. You can only view one camera at a time in live mode. The app itself is very basic and useful.Other Features:1. Micro-SD Card Slot2. Magnetic Base3. Pinch and Expand live picture viewing4. Manual swivel mount allows for orienting the camera in many ways5. Camera can be mounted upside down using camera settings in appOverall: For $34.99 and free same-day shipping this camera is low priced but not the bargain I expected. Unfortunately the picture quality and very poor night vision performance prevent me from recommending this camera to others. This camera is clearly only going to perform as an interior camera option with good lighting. I returned the two I purchased.

so I am not a great judge of quality
This was my first wi-fi camera, so I am not a great judge of quality. However, this camera exceeds expectations in every way. It took a little bit of Engrish translation to fully understand the manual, and the user interface takes a little getting used to, but the features are awesome. Just make sure you get the microSD (32GB or less) card that it requires in order to replay video. It was a little annoying to install the SD card and it didn't work at first. Works like a charm now.I get a lot of "false alarms" when I have the motion sensor on, even on "low range" setting, but I'd much rather it overdetect than miss something important. My friends are in awe that I got a camera with these functions for this price. If I need another, I know to turn to UOKOO.

Good for the price
works well, just didn't realize I had to purchase a SD card to record. I bought this to watch my dogs when I am way from home. Does not have night vision so you have to keep a light on.Good for the price.Works for I wantedUpdate;3-9-18- 7months after purchasing the camera and SD.The SD card went bad that I purchased so I replaced it with a new one last week then today the camera stopped working altogether. No lights on the camera tried unplugging to reset but nothing is happening. App just says camera is off line.I will contact the company but if it keeps burning up SD cards this camera is a waste.I will update when I find out what happened to the camera.

DON'T BUY ARLOS! BUY UOKOO!!!!!!!
UOKOO RULES!! For $30 you get virtually everything Netgear ARLO's have, minus the aggravation of having to change batteries every 24 hours (just find a plug for it and a USB extension cable). Seriously, NetGreed ... woops, NetGear needs to shape up, all of their stuff has gone downhill since around 2010, and to make matters worse, they are charging more for their garbage than ever before. Suckers born every minute I guess is the basis of their business model... I guess its working.

GREAT CAMERA!
I did some research looked at reviews and was kinda nercous buying this one because of the price but was very pleased! The quality was decent it did exactly what i wanted it to do, only issue I had was the alerts that you get wheb the sensors are activated only gives them to you when the app is open. I guess that is somewhat to be expected but I figure there is someway to fix this issue to where it alerts yoh regardless. Still pleased with my camera and will be buying a 2nd one for my house

The set-up is super easy. Picture quality is outstanding
The set-up is super easy. Picture quality is outstanding. Audio also functions very well. A little misleading is the fact that it does not record on motion. It is always recording (this could have better indication - future App update?). The motion detection is an infrared detector built into the device and is configurable with an alarm schedule, which works nicely. The alarm creates an alert and sends it to the App for quick snapshot retrieval. One complaint is the video playback aspect will not rotate for wide angle viewing. It will play in 16:9 mode but you have to look at it sideways. This function is in the App, so fingers crossed it will be fixed in a future update. **Update. This item was addressed in a recent update and video viewing now works very well.Overall this camera is a good value.
