Very well made
I’m in the process of getting rid of all my Teflon and other non stick pans. I have a nice assortment of cast iron and stainless steel, but need a few enamel pans for cooking acidic sauces such as tomato base ones. The enamel looks like ceramic but it’s not non stick like ceramic. It works great as long as you pre heat the pan and use some fat. Very easy to clean and very thick and heavy which distributes the heat very well.

Love this skillet!
Excellent quality. Medium high heat (6 out of 10) is more than enough to cook anything you want. It spreads the heat out evenly and retains the heat well. Cleans easily after a few minutes soaking in warm water. The enameled bottom is perfect for my glass top stove. (I scratched the stove-top with my non- enameled cast iron skillet ) I purchased a generic 10.25” lid for it when I bought the skillet but the lid was just a little to big. Oh well, easy return. Just don’t use high heat and this thing should last you a lifetime.

Sticky: not for frying
I heated it, oiled it. Tried to fry potatoes with onions. Onions were OK, but potatoes stuck to the surface, it was difficult to remove them. Could not clean completely with soft cloth, decided to send it back as is. This is not right. I have cast iron enameled Dutch oven. I did not fry in it, but at least it is very easy to wash. Something is wrong here. I never had so bad pan before.

First Experience with Enameled Cast Iron Cookware
I bought a piece of vintage Scandinavian enamel cookware a few years ago, but it was a huge Dutch oven and while the bright yellow was amusing, I soon put it away in my cabinet.Recently, I noticed that my Caphalon frying pans are losing their coating, so I gave myself permission to do some shopping. My best friend has some Le Creuset pieces so she inspired me to look at enameled cookware.Le Crueset is definitely too expensive, so I looked at Amazon for alternatives. This turquoise cookware by Segretto fit the bill perfectly. I needed a skillet that would not only last, but one that I could leave on my stovetop. These cast iron pieces are rather heavy, so I didn’t want to have to pull it out of my cabinet, each time I needed it.It arrived this afternoon. I wiped it off and placed it on the stove. I poured in some olive oil, and garlic, and proceeded to fry some onions, zucchini and mushrooms. Once caramelized, I added a bit of water and scraped the surface with a silicone spatula. The browned bits loosened up immediately, giving me hope for an effortless clean up…which turned out to be the case!I’m sold!Tomorrow, my Segretto Dutch oven arrives and Coq au Vin is on the menu!

Really high quality, saved my house
Sure, you're thinking, "what is this brand? Another made up Amazon brand selling mass produced chinesium with good sounding names?" and, no. I don't think so. Unfortunately I only got to use this pan once. Nothing stuck. Super satisfied. My mother has dementia and lives with us. She left this pan on our glass top electric stove (set to high) for over 12 hours while we were gone visiting family. It didn't explode and crack or anything. It got so hot it's outrageous. I'm so thankful this pan held up and didn't shatter and start a fire in my house.Unfortunately, I am too nervous of it having some sort of microcracking from the cool down to use it again. But this pan may have genuinely saved my house. I will be buying another.
