Q: Do you need to prime this chalkboard first?

The instructions say to prime the board first so I did. It wasn’t difficult to prime the board. It was actually pretty easy. I just took a piece of chalk and put it on side and covered the whole board in chalk. I wiped the chalk off and it was ready to use. Priming the board didn’t harm it or take away from the finish.

Q: What brand liquid chalk erases easy on these? Want to know before I’d purchase since several reviews say they had trouble erasing. Thank you!!

Chalk erases easily, but you need a magic eraser to erase chalk markers. It comes off easily with these, but just FYI. I would say this pertains to most brands of the chalk markers.
