Lego Box
Used these to make a lego storage/play box for my kiddo, they work great. The glue is very strong, so be sure it's where you want it before you peel the backing. Also easy to score and snap to make smaller tiles for a custom fit, just have to snap and then cut through the adhesive. I used a smooth plastic tub and put the plates on the top, they stuck very nicely and no amount of prying took them off.

Perfect! Worked Great! Easy to Use!
These are great! We created an activity wall in the preschool age Sunday school classroom of our church. The activity wall included a metal area for magnets, a chalk board, and a lego-type section. We chose the grey baseplates for our wall. They arrived quickly and were very easy to work with. The adhesive is very strong! Some baseplates had to be cut, but we followed the instructions carefully and had no problem cutting them to size with a utility knife. The kids absolutely love the activity wall and each week the lego-type area is loaded with kids building out from the wall. We found that the baseplates fit lego brand bricks perfectly, even duplo and mega blocks. We've had some trouble with the off brand (duplo size) bricks we purchased, some fit great and some just don't. I doubt there would be much problem using an off brand brick if the kids were building from a table top. With building from the wall, gravity is working against the bricks, so those that don't fit as tight just fall off the wall. Though the preschoolers don't seem to mind. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to build a lego-type wall or turn anything into a lego surface!

If you are looking to stick base plates to a surface, this is far and away your best choice!
I was recently working on a large project and needed a lot of these plates (20+). I purchased mostly the Creative QT plates with self-adhesive and some larger (15.75 X 15.75) plates from another company without the adhesive and I wish I had just purchased all the QT plates. The Creative QT plates come with very descriptive and helpful instructions (with pictures) for both cutting and adhering the plates which made attaching them very easy. The adhesive is very strong and once applied will not come off (so get it in the right place the first time =)). I was adhering to vertical surfaces and this worked very well! Using a box cutter worked well to cut the plates. The other brand plates I purchased were functionally ok, but the lack of self-adhesive was a serious drawback. It took two attempts to get them attached and having to use clamps and other forms of pressure left the boards un-evenly attached/warped and it is difficult to attach larger lego pieces to them.I did not have this problem with the QT plates, easy to attach just peel and stick! The owner of the company was great as well, providing additional learning materials by e-mail after purchase, and following up after delivery to ensure I was satisfied.

my new go-to baseplates--the adhesive is spectacular
So far, so good! Ordered these based on excellent reviews & I am as impressed as everyone else! My go-to generic brand baseplates were by Brickyard, which I'd used to make a large Lego table with 8 baseplates--but after trying these by Creative QT I'm a convert because the fit is 100% as compatible with genuine Lego as the Brickyard plates at a comparable price, but beyond that there are lots of additional pluses to going with Creative QT: 1) The adhesive is already applied so saves me the gluing step, & it is GOOD adhesive (no fear of baseplates detaching!), 2) The Creative QT plates are more flexible, which is super if adhering to slightly-warped plywood :) like I did, & 3) different & broader baseplate color selection (love the clean white). I used 4 baseplates to create a 20" x 20" play surface on a square piece of old plywood (which I first spray-painted in my son's color choice😉). Works great, even though I knew I was taking a risk with adhesiveness due to the slight bend in the plywood. No problem! I will add 4 rolling casters so he can scoot the legless "table" more easily from room to room or slide it under other furniture at night for storage.

These are awesome
This adhesive baseplates are awesome! They stick extremely well and Legos fit on them perfectly. If you read the instructions they give helpful hints on how to best measure and cut your baseplates before placing them. We followed those instruction and had no issues at all.I did remove one star for this reason; these do have an extremely strong smell when you first remove the paper backing. I get migraines from certain scents and this definitely triggered one. If I were to need to stick these somewhere again, I would wait for a nice day so I could do it outside or at least be able to ventilate the room. We did not allow the kids to shut the door their Lego table was in for at least 24 hours because the smell was strong. After a day the smell disappeared though and there is no lingering issue.Maybe a ventilation suggestion would be helpful on the packaging.Overall a great product though that does what it says it will do.
