Works great when transferring my HOMEBREW from the fermentator to the keg

Solid quality. The screen fits in and secures into the clear container by pressing. Easy to disassemble and clean / sanitize for brewing needs. Somewhat difficult to unscrew after transferring liquid is complete, as the container seems to tighten up on the cap.The 20mesh screen is sufficient for homebrewers using this to transfer to kegs and avoid hop-pellet debris clogging poppets and disconnects. It is not too fine nor too coarse. A good choice. Will not filter yeast or haze, just solid matter, so it's perfect.

Product worked well, however it broke the second time I used it when I was threading the outer casing on.

I bought this stainless filter to put between my primary and secondary fermenter as I used a few pounds of fresh fruit during homebrewing. The filter was sucking in air from the top and I can't get it to use my siphon as it stops the vacuum. Because of this I saw lots of oxygen being pulled in therefore stopped this process and just used a hop back during the transfer.So tried again during bottling between my bottling bucket and filler and noticed the same behavior.While it looks good and seem that it should work I cannot use it during brewing.
