Works as advertized.
This works as advertised. I made apple mead and was at 15.2% in 48 hrs and finished with 18.3 in five days in 85 degree heat. You will need to set your carboy or bucket in a container as this yeast will blow through the air lock. It looks like boiling water as opposed to the happy percolation of fermentation with regular yeast. One could get the same results with a champagne yeast and enough nutrients and warmth but I figured I'd test this to see if it worked as advertised and it does. It takes about another week to clear so you can drink in about two weeks after you start if you want. It may be slightly different with beer or another wine but I think it will work about the same regardless. Good stuff for a quick batch.

This 48 Hour Yeast starts to work quickly. Depending on the type of beer or wine, it can leave an off taste in the final product. The fermentation process takes the same amount of time. The quick start does not reduce the fermentation time.

Best Yeast Great Product
Works great for a beginner like me. I modified a bubbler to fit a used Clean empty Glass Wine bottle ( a gallon) warm up pressed or unfiltered apple juice in a large 5 quart pot pour 3 cups in glass gallon jar 3 tablespoons FermFast I add 2 Tablespoons of Honey and 3 tablespoons of Strawberry preserve jam then fill the gallon up with warm juice and 2 lbs of brown sugar mixing sugar and juice in pot and warmed together until about 5 inches from top of glass wine jar clean top add bubbler 2 days drinkable 5 days 20% ABV place bottle on heating pad on low.
