Best Styling Product I’ve Tried
I’ve cycled through several different products recommended by the stylists at my barber’s place. They all seem to be ok but about the same and just not quite what I’m looking for. Buck’s Burley Hair Cream is the first one that I’ve instantly liked. The hold is great. Not stiff, just pliable and does what you want it to. It smells so good, and rinses/washes cleaner than everything else I’ve had. The unexpected bonus I had 2 days after it showed up was that during a workout when I started to sweat I could actually catch whiffs of sandalwood. Love this stuff. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect hold strength, true matte finish
I couldn't ask for a better product. This cream holds all day and washes out easy. The matte finish, natural look is absolutely to my liking. The best part is that I don't have to use much of it at all! I actually made a mistake of over-using the first time I tried it, treating it like the store bought styling creams I've used before. I have used this for almost a month and I've barely made a dent. So price-wise, I know it IS expensive but it'll last! I style my hair daily, sometimes twice if I go to the beach and I'm not concerned that it'll run out anytime soon. As for the sandalwood scent, it's great, It's subtle and it's pleasant.

Hold is excellent. Smells like Miracle Whip.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced me to make some hard decisions, in general. As far as hair was concerned, the world event presented me with a "cut it all or let it grow" choice and "let it grow" was the path I chose. As a result, I needed a hair product that could hold the hair and not me 80's hair gel. And so I found Buck's.The Hold. Well, the hold is top-notch. It lasts all day and likely days if you're into that sort of thing. It takes very little effort to apply and distribute and then, bam, you're looking like a mildly groomed disaster survivor on Zoom or Webex or from your porch. The Scent. Yeah, it's Miracle Whip. I am not sure if it's the sweetness that harkens back memories of that abomination of sandwich spreads, but for me, the regret is unmistakeable. It's not so bad that you shouldn't use the product, but it definitely represents an opportunity for improvement for Buck's.The Value. I think the cost is fine considering the market. If you want quality hair products, you're going to pay quality prices. The Conclusion. Don't put Buck's on your sandwiches; don't put Miracle Whip in your hair.

I am glad I did
well well well! I've tried a lot of products over the years, mostly bought in stores, and thought I would try to find something online. I am glad I did:-) Bucks Burley is the best product I have personally used on my hair. It is smooth, no lumps, with the consistency being very nice and goes into my hair without leaving any excess (I have never had a product do that!) on my hands and it smells great! I was a little concerned about the cost, but a little of this goes a long way, so I would put the real cost at about half the $20 (so $10) as compared to others. I am hoping I am not purchasing again for another 6 months or so, but when I do I will buy again.

Great Scent, Weak Hold!
This thing smells amazing! In fact it's the best smelling hair product I've ever used, a scent that lasts all day, very clean masculine scent. Now, I have curly wavy hair, that's begining to thin out. I bought this product due to it being a matte product, claims it has strong hold, but it doesn't. I used it on dry hair, styled it like a usually do with other products and my hair was horrible. I had to add another product to be able to get some functionality out of my hair. Now, due to my hair thinning, I don't even try to put on any product on my hair while it's wet, that's a dumb move as it will show the thinning even further.I figured let me try a different approach, so before I went to bed I used a sea salt spray to thicken my hair even more for the morning, then used this product and it was the same thing, it left my hair separated, loose strands of hair all over...Maybe this product is for people with straight hair? Or for people that don't have combination hair like myself which is a mix of wavy and curly... It didn't work for me, and in truth it makes no sense to keep it and use it with another product just for the scent alone.Again, I will say this, the scent is amazing, by far the best smelling product I've ever used.Just wish the hold was stronger....

This is the one.
I'm not a hair product guy. Almost my entire life, I've been able to honestly say "I woke up like this"(No, I'm not a male model, thanks for asking.) :)Every year or so, I have tried another hair product, usually at the recommendation of a barber right after a fresh cut. Everything is so greasy or 1990's spiked-tip crispy. I've thrown away SO many barely used tins of men's hair product, cremes and pomades and clays etc...•I was working on a photoshoot (again, shockingly, I was not the model. I was art directing.) We were talking with the stylist on set, and I mentioned that my favorite hair product is a hat. Unexpectedly, my photographer buddy said "try this". In 43 years, I have NEVER had an interaction like that with another straight man, so you can already imagine something extraordinary was about to happen. You guessed it (probably because of the way I titled this review) It works. It doesn't clump in my hair. After a long day, even in the heat, I don't look like the girl that crawls out of the well at the end of The Ring. The Sandalwood scent adds 10 manly-points to my overall presentation.•Finally, this is the part that got me to take the time to write this review. This is my SECOND purchase of Buck's Burley. I'm still wrapping my (now more stylish) head around it. I have never even come close to finishing a hair product, much less been interested in re-buying one.•I won't tell you what to do with your life, but this might make you less ugly.
