Excellent curling tongs.
I have used curling tongs in the past and have never been satisfied with the curls, but these are different (maybe it's because my hair is much dryer than it was when I was younger). The lever grips the hair really tightly and the barrel is slim and creates bouncy curls. The temperature does not exceed 185 so does not damage the hair. There is an instruction booklet explaining how long to hold the hair in the tongs and a brush attachment which I haven't used yet. I like the protection feature which means you can prop your tongs up without it touching any surface. The only thing I had a problem with was with the on/off switch which was situated in a place that you rest your hand on when holding the tongs, so I accidentally turned it off a couple of times in the middle of curling. However, I'm sure I'll get used to that and there is a light which you can keep your eye on in the mirror to make sure it's still on. Great value for money.

Works well!
My daughter is hair obsessed!.. has asked me year after year for a decent hair curler and so far we’ve been unsuccessful! Until we found this one.. came across it as we purchased the matching hairdryer. She absolutely loves this curling iron. She does her hair beautifully and has even been using it on her younger cousins. Quick and easy to use. Beautiful curls. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Great
Great small pair of curling tongs. They curl short hair well without burning the hair. Long lead also which is always ideal.

Not smooth
I chose these because they have a bigger than average barrel and come from a well known manufacturer. They heat up fast but they are not smooth so my hair snags and breaks in them. I no longer use them.

Great for fine hair
The pictures are after an hour AND a brush through and only minimal product (Tresemme Heat Protect before hand and a light spritz of hairspray).I have fine, long hair and have grown out my hair dye so I've always struggled to get a lasting curl, usually it's dropped right out by the time I've finished curling! So far so good with this device. V easy to use, gets hot quickly and very light too. I can imagine lots of use may cause damage to my ends so I'm using it sparingly but I'm very happy so far!

Perfect just the job
I have had problems keeping a curl in my hair, i've tried various ways with no use and curls drop out within a hour. I thought I would try these and at such a cheap price I didn't feel I would waste too much money not thinking they would be any good. Now I must admit a have fine hair, so I did use a thickening spray when drying my hair, then I used VO5 heat protecting spray, and they the curling tongues. I have just above the shoulder hair length. My hair immediately curled lovely. I didn't comb it through till I thought they were all cold, then combed it with my fingers. The effect was absolutely brilliant. I had curls all over and my hair looked so thick. I did this about 11am and kept checking all through the day thinking it would be dropped out soon, but I went to bed with curly hair and there was even some bits curly in the morning.I am so impressed. It didn't even take long to do.The only thing that I got annoyed with was every time I had done with curl I had to put them down to get the next bit of hair, and so you have hair in one hand, pick the tongues up with the other hand, but you have got to bend the stand back too. It was ok it was just a case of manage.
