Fires up the coal’s really quickly

Works brilliantly and certainly gets things going really quickly every time without fail. In the instructions it does say use twisted up newspaper underneath, impregnated with some vegetable oil. I just use the all natural wood-wool fire starters (less messy) and it still works great. If you do leave the charcoal in it too long the handle will get very hot and you have to be very careful when tipping the hot coals out. Still a fantastic and fast way to get your charcoal BBQ up and running quickly.

Amazing, ordered 7PM Friday night and got it 8AM next morning, now that's service, works beautifully, can't ask for more than that. Be careful though because it is phenomenally efficient. They recommend you use 2 sheets of newspaper loosely rolled into a circular crown and stuffed underneath and lit with matches to get the coals started. Seems unlikely doesn't it, not a bit, it works beautifully. No smell of firelighters either. In terms of how good this thing is, I put warm unused coals back in the firestarter (and I mean hand warm not hot) ready for my next barbecue and it started again! I gave it a quick dousing with the hose and it hissed and then eventually it started again, its amazing. I give it a complete dousing now until the outside is cold and the coals are completely black again and that works just fine. If you are having a long BBQ you can get the next set of coals ready whilst the others are dying. Highly Recommended

Impressionnant, très pratique d'utilisation. En 30 minutes vos braises sont rouges sans utiliser le moindre produit additionnel (uniquement du papier, qq allumettes et si possioble un peu d'huile). J'aime surtout le côté sécuriant de la cheminée sur le bbq (notamment pour les enfants).

Te da para más de una hora de barbacoa, excelente opinión, la verdad es que funciona como promete. 6 codornices, una longniza y casi unkilo de chuletas y aun seguia con alegría.

Fonctionne à merveille.Poignée trop chaude pour prendre à main nue une fois les braises prêtes mais aucun problème avec un gant !Suffit de 2 allumes feu ou du papier. Ca prend tout seul !Pour les gros BBQ. Une fois la cheminé prête. Versez sur DI charbon déjà mis dans le BBQ au préalable et mélanger le tout. Ca fonctionne superbement bien ! Quel plaisir de plus s'occuper du lancement du BBQ !

Desde que lo tengo hace un año, utilizamos la barbacoa hasta en invierno. Permite encender las briquetas de carbón con solo un papel de periódico enrollando en la base y sin prestar atención a su evolución. Siempre funciona.Posibilita el encendido homogéneo de las briquetas por lo que su aprovechamiento es total. Antes de tenerlo quedaban muchas sin consumir por lo que la barbacoa no realizaba bien su mision
