A few important points for this review - Siker, this particular battery, and the benchmarks I use.This particular battery - they should specify this in the title description, but it is a HIGH CAPACITY battery. For those who haven't seen these, they essentially throw in a few more cells, and hold more power. Yes it weighs more. Yes it is bulkier. Yes it sticks out. But unless you have a case for the laptop and you are absolutely neurotic about it, the higher capacity is good.The weight difference may be noticeable if you are carrying it in a bag - about a 1/4 to 1/2 pounds heavier. I was absolutely fearful that my elderly mother with bad shoulders and weight restrictions would kill me - she usually moves the laptop about 3 feet across the table. She was not upset - she barely noticed the weight difference, even after I brought it up.The battery sticks out a bit - it is supposed to. It also props up the laptop, and has it at an angle - this is a GOOD thing, and intentional design. It allows air to circulate and cool it easier, you might even notice a speed boost if you had it flushed against a tablecloth before. Like I said - inside your laptop case going back and forth on public transit, probably not your best bet. Leaving it at home and doing only occasional relocation of the laptop - 100%.Siker - this is the 3rd battery I am replacing with Siker, for 3 laptops. To take a $500 laptop and essentially make it new for a family member can take very little investment with some knowhow. Upgrade the RAM, reformat or upgrade the hard drive (all the programs we install,) and replace the battery. A new battery will allow the laptop to use the energy more efficiently, not need to be plugged in and tethered at all times, and not die out in 2 minutes from accidentally pulling away from the power supply. Siker batteries for this laptop, as well as others, have consistently maintained their charge for 6+ months, with no negative outcomes from what I've seen. I will seek out, and pay a premium for Siker's batteries rather than just a less expensive seller.The tests I use. I'd like to say I run with some fancy software and can tell you voltage and amperes. I'm not going to do that. I'm going to point out that without changing the programs on your computer, time the battery drain from full to shut down before switching out, and after. This laptop went from about 30 minutes to about 8 hours. That's good. Keep testing it every so often - drain it to 90%, drain it to a random number, you'll see that it's consistent, or at least should be. If it was a knock-off or lower quality, that battery would have noticeable degrade in less than 30 days.Notice that because the computer no longer goes into power-conservation and shut-down avoidance that it moves faster. That's an important test. If you still see it draining battery quickly, or running hot, check yourself for drivers, a BIOS update, and viruses. All of these can degrade performance. But if you see that performance improve with a new battery, problem solved.

Only got 18 months out of the battery before it would no longer charge - new battery charged perfectly, so it was not the power supply/charger.Worked very well until about the 12 month point then the charge level started dropping off until it was 0

It arrived in a simple box with adequate bubble wrap. I Love that this 9 CELL battery has a raised base. This battery allows for more air flow! Has Non-slip rubber bumpers.I haven't used my DELL N7110 laptop in 2 years. This battery has resurrected it! It charges fine without getting super hot.I Fully charged the battery then unplugged to test it. Battery charge depends on power consumption; I surfed the web, watched YouTube videos, deleted 5-6000 emails ( then cleared out my Spam and Trash folders WHICH took some time), then browsed Amazon for Toys for Our French bulldog, Father's day gifts, and some other stuff, read a bunch of News articles and then researched and verified those articles, and finally deleted a bunch of old and unfused files, cleaned up the memory.Overall, the Full charge lasted 2 1/2 hours of 'Normal use'.Now, if I had been playing League of Legends, I doubt the battery would have lasted that long.GOOD BATTERY, GOOD VALUE. WISH I HAD BOUGHT THIS SOONER! SO FAR, So GOOD!

Replacement for older laptop... Dell N7110 It fit easily ,powers up fine charges up fairly quickly and does Not get hot.Chose this one as it is a 9 cel vs. a 6cel for more 'unplugged' time . Was getting about 2 hours at best from another brand (6 cel) until it no longer charged at all. This one is larger in size compared the the 6 cel .It does stick out so that the lap top now tilts forward compared to using a smaller 6 cel where the lap top sits flat. The bottom of the battery has rubber stoppers ,so it wont scratch a table top but not as comfortable when sitting on on lap. The trade off for battery protruding from the bottom of lap top is longer battery life.If you prefer your lap top sitting flat on your lap then opt for a 6 cel. I estimate Im getting 3 hours of time on this battery though indicator reads over 4 hours when fully charged.-this may depend on usage.Ive been using on and off for 2 weeks . I do not get a low battery warning with this battery though I have checked the battery settings. I will try follow up in future and report any variance s..Choose carefuly when looking for the right battery size- for your need. This vendor provides many sizes - make matches brand and model # battery type before you press buy button.

This battery pack fit like the original pack. It's not loose or too tight.It is not flat on the bottom like the original pack, so your laptop will not sit flat on table top. Presumably this is due to the extra cells needed for the higher performance. At first I thought this would be a problem, but it's actually a nice feature. It props the laptop up about an inch at the back and makes it easier to see the keyboard. It doesn't hinder your typing or create any awkward hand positions.It charged up fine. It has continued to both hold a lasting charge as well as charge fully every time. I have many charge cycles on the pack now and I haven't seen any dips in preformance.Overall the product has performed very well and was a good value. The seller shipped it quick and without issue. They appear to offer customer service. Although I didn't need this service it was clearly offered.Just be aware that this pack has the extra bump on it and your laptop will not sit flat on a table or desk.
