Good little tablet after a few days using
Good little tablet after a few days using, excellent and quick, good design with fair price. Screen and Speaker-The 1024X600 IPS screen solution is good enough to support web surfing and video watching but you could probably notice images looking a bit pixelated around the edges - especially if you're used to higher resolution devices like Apple devices or high end phones. The speaker is a little quiet but quality isn't that bad and doesn't distort at high volumes. Design-Light but sturdy. Unlike many of the cheaper tablets as Fire or Samsung, Huawei provides a metal body for this entry level tablet to keep it thinner and looks stylish. System and storage-Having the latest version of Android (7.0 Nougat) out of the box is another plus so you won't have to worry about not being able to run the latest apps because the OS is too old. Huawei's EMUI UI is clean and responsive. Performance is more than adequate for most normal tablet tasks. It has 16GB as said but actually you need a Micro SD card if you need want to download videos or install apps, as the build in storage is taken up by pre-installed apps. Internet Connection-Need to mention it support dual-belt WIFI connection and connects to internet fast no matter where I am. Battery-Battery life is good, about 7 hours of video playing. Besides, parental controls allow you to manage usage limits, content access, leaving a safe kid-friendly environment and also peaceful mind for the adults.Overall, this is an absolute bargain for what it offers.

Good as an Ipad
I bought this for the compact size to use at work. So far I am impressed. The foot print size is just right to be able to be portable and useable, great for movies on the go.Does not come loaded with too much unecessary software so you free to load what you need. Was easy to set up has a short update then ready to use, has a user guide within the pre installed software use.Battery was 3/4 charged.Easy to connet to wifi with an excellent range,It has a quad processor and was as fast as my daughter IPad air 2 all software I loaded on worked no problem.Screen quality is great movies crisp and clear I used netflix and BBC IplayerCharges quickly and battery life is about 6- 7 hours, depends what you are doing on it how bright the screen is and if you have wifi /bluetooth etc on so the less on the longer you getThis is a great little pad for less than 70 quid, Highly recommended

Recommended basic entry level Android tablet.
Bought this early in the new year as a replacement for a dying Acer tablet.Arrived swiftly and sensibly packaged, box contained the tablet, charger and cable and a quick-start guide. Tablet delivered charged sufficiently to run and set-up. Connected to wifi easily enough, connection stable right around the house. Bluetooth is also stable.Aluminium shell makes it strong and rigid (can't be flexed like the old Acer) and the screen is bright and sharp enough for my needs (movies/anime/internet/ebooks,etc) - not a gamer, so haven't tried running graphics-intensive games.Of the 16Gb memory, about 10Gb is taken up with OS and apps, but an SD card slot will take microSD cards upto 128Gb (I have a 64Gb installed). Android 6.0 allows fairly free transfer of data between onboard memory and the SD card (unlikethe fun and games with Android 4.4!)Android 6.0 installed. There is some bloatware pre-installed, some of which can be deleted. Most of my apps load fine, though one surprising failure to load/run was the official Amazon shopping app - this incapability is most odd given this is an 'Amazon Choice' product! One other annoying niggle is that the micro USB port is for charging ONLY, not data transfer. This more than anything docks a star.Battery life is decent - I'm getting roughly 3 days between charges and 2-3 hours mixed usage ('net, ebooks and video) per day on the commute.Overall, I'm very happy with the tablet and would recommend it as a basic entry level Android tablet.

disapointed
I have a Huawei P10 phone and its brilliant, just cant fault it, so when I wanted to get a replacement for my old Tab4 tablet I thought a Huawei tablet would be a good buy. Wrong, takes an age to charge and runs down quickly. Very slow in operation, tap on something then wait!On the good side its a lot lighter than my old tablet and thinner, once you start to watch something its ok.Why didn't I send it back? Thinking it was going to be the bees knees I threw the box etc away!Perhaps I will get used to it! It was cheap after all

Good value, but low-performance requires patience
For the money this is a bargain, with its build quality you know it'll last and last and if your expectations are realistic it won't disappoint. Using this tablet requires you to exercise patience, but that isn't altogether a bad thing (it's a virtue afterall, right?). Just be aware that fairly often you will have to tap twice for your input to 'register' which is a little irritating. A handy tip I've discovered is to ensure you set the battery plan to 'Performance' mode instead of 'Smart' - it will speed up the device a little (and you can also make some minor adjustments in the Developer options to add a touch more speed - there are guides online which show you how to do this). My previous device was a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8", so perhaps this tablet feels even more slow to me than it should've done. But at the end of the day, you're still getting more than what you pay for here. It's a trusty little tablet which you can rely on. It won't win any awards for speed but it's still a good quality and very robust tabbie. Perfect for casual web-surfing or catching up on email (also good for YouTube!).
