Absolutely love this griddle! Just returned from a 5,000 mile camping trip through South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Some of the campsites did not allow campfires due to forest fire concerns. This griddle worked excellent for feeding my group of 3 adults and 8 children. I was able to cook 6-8 decent sized pancakes at a time or 8-10 hamburgers plus an 8 pack of hot dogs. I do wish it worked on a smaller propane tank for traveling...which maybe there is an adapter...but the linkage that comes with it is for a 20lb propane cylinder (the standard size for home propane grills). Super easy to clean and store. When I put it together I did not bolt the cooktop to the stove. I put the 4 bolts in so the cooktop sits correctly over the burners but I didn't install the nuts so I can easily take it apart for cleaning or to light the burners if the striker wears out. This also makes it easier to divide the weight up while hiking into some of the more undeveloped camping areas. I also bought the carrying bag which I feel is a must for storage and transporting it after use. Would definitely buy it again, actually considering buying another because I help with a lot of youth camps and transporting larger griddles is always a pain.

I purchased this bag because I have a portable 3 burner griddle that I would like to take with me when we go out camping or to the beach for a bbq. It fits my griddle like a glove. It’s a little thin, and with protect from dents but that’s not what I’m worried about. The bag has two oversized straps as well which makes it easy to throw it in your shoulder and just go.

Bought this when I bought the Royal portable propane flat-top stove for my son. Glad I did because the removable stove top is heavy - this makes transporting the burner base and cooktop so easy. Royal should offer an option to buy it with the grill in the listing.

I needed a case to carry my grill in and this one works perfectly. It makes it easy to move the grill and also to pack it in my camper!

The outside strap should be shorter or adjustable so you can walk straight arm. You have to put it over your shoulder or use your bi-cep to keep it off the ground. The grill is fairly heavy so I wouldn't want to carry it very far. On a good note, the strap on the inside keeps the heavy grill top in place and the bag is strong. the outside compartment is good to carry the hose, grill cover and a small wrench.

This portable grill carrying bag fits the Royal Gourmet PD1301 perfectly. The inner strap that holds the heavy grill to the body while in transport is the best feature. In addition, the side pocket is large enough to hold all the tools needed for grilling. The stitching on this bag is very strong as well as the fabric, and it is also waterproof. We have been looking for a while for a bed to put our griddle in and this works perfectly. Affordable convenience and exactly what we were looking for. Well-made also. Highly recommend.
