They don't get particularly abused but these seem particularly poor quality.
Bought this to replace the original cable which lasted for an age. This one lasted for approximately a month and a half before a loose connection developed and I lost sound in one earphone, then later that week, the other. Complained and customer service were lovely and very helpful and offered a second cable free which arrived mid September and just this week has developed a loose connection. I treat my headphones the same way most people do, wearing them to and from work with my phone in a pocket, leaving them on my desk/in a bag during the day. They don't get particularly abused but these seem particularly poor quality.

the AKG lock seems to not be a perfect fit with my AKG K451
I'm one of those who thoroughly abuse my headphone cables, but this is the first time I've actually managed to break a jack clean off the plug. While soldering on the replacement jack I got the feeling that each lead is made up of fewer strands than my original cable which might make it more susceptible to cable breaks in the long term. Finally, as others have noted, the AKG lock seems to not be a perfect fit with my AKG K451. It's easy enough to get in place but removing it will take some work. All in all the product feels sloppily made.

Utter rubbish. Jammed in the headphones socket.

Issues with Huawei P9 Lite
The cable itself works fine, but the jack doesn't fit my Huawei p9 lite properly, so I can't use it for what I bought it for. Disappointing considering the 3.5mm audio jack is a universal standard.

Bought on 3rd December, it's 1st February and one channel goes on the cable. It's also now stuck in my AKG K451s as I cannot get the cable out of the headphones.

Poorly made with weak jack
Initially a good product, worked well. 3 weeks later the jack bends in my pocket (weak, no support) and the music stops. Not happy !
