I got one deck for a friend, and one for myself. The deck I got for myself was the gold and black foil one. They are nice, but a bit too gaudy. All of the normally colored backgrounds are gold, which takes away from the true energy of most of the cards, except the already yellow ones. Using the gold foil ones in the sun will fry your retinas. They are definitely more for indoor use, especially with candlelight, a fire or a well lit evening. They are still extremely good looking however; I think they are more a of a "cool factor" deck especially for perfomers who are doing readings for clientele. The other ones I got for my friend give me a lot of buyers remorse, the irredescent ones with white are absolutely incredible. They are gorgeous and not too overwhelming and keep the true nature and energy of the cards, even adding small textures which bring out some colors and energy even more. Both of them are a dream to shuffle and practice with without worry about destroying/damaging them. They are a bit slippery, but feel nice and will definitely discipline you on proper techniques and improving your dexterity (You can do a cool riffle/merge shuffle with ease). I am probably going to buy another deck from this brand and highly recommend these as a great gift. Even the box it comes in is great, it's very practical with it's magnetic clasp and looks great on a shelf or table. Some even come with a stand for a card you want to display. The white irredescent ones did not. I definitely recommend this brand if you want a good PVC deck.

Beautiful deck, and the case it came with is of high quality as well! If you collect tarot decks, this is a deck you would want to add to your collection.I have a thing for shuffling cards, doing the bridge shuffle and all. I found that I’m not able to do that with this particular deck due to the slipperiness. I hope that within time it won’t be as slippery, and I’ll have a better grip with em as they tend to easily slip out of my hands.

These cards are beautiful. I purchased the holographic ones and the spectrum of rainbow colors that reflect from the cards is exquisite. The cards have a high shine and are very reflective even in low light. The colors are vibrant and the illustrations are neat and beautiful and are the traditional Colman illustrations. The cards can be slippery so shuffling can be tricky, I’m thinking that they are plastic cards but I’m not sure. They are a good thickness and very flexible, they shuffle well, but again they can be slippery (this may decrease with age and continued use but I’m not sure). My only issue with this purchase is that the included guidebook is not helpful. There are spelling mistakes that render is unreliable and unreadable. The guidebook that I received is basically trash but may not be a reflection of all their guidebooks that come with the cards. Overall, the deck is truly beautiful and I would recommend this deck for anyone looking for beautiful cards at a very reasonable price. Guidebooks can be found easily and separately, the cards are so beautiful and are the main purchase item so I absolutely rate them 5 stars just on beauty and accurate detail alone.

I thought I woildnt like that the cards are plastic, but they do shuffle nicely so far. The reviews saying that the cards stink, are correct. But it isn't just that they stink, it's that the smell leaves a weird film in your mouth and at the back of your throat. I strongly recommend that you air these out outside before using them at all, take them out and open the box because the box smells even worse. It's over 24 hours and I still have that weird film and taste in my mouth from the cards. The cards are gorgeous and I love the art work, I'm just not sure they are safe. I think I'll stick to paper cards from now on.

This deck is nothing short of amazing!! I have a very vast tarot/divination collection and have had the exceptional experience of being able to peruse many decks at my liesure. I just never found a copy of the original 1909 artwork by Pamela Coleman Smith that really hit home with me. The day I'd gone shopping for my first deck, I knew nothing at all about tarot cards. The clerk handed me a copy of the RWS and told me that was the best starting point but I just didnt feel it grab me. So, I ended up deciding I'd find a way to learn with a Morgan-Greer and a set of Ciro Marcheetti's Legacy of the Divine Tarot!THIRTEEN years have passed since then and I'm beyond floored when I tell you that I cannot wait to do a reading with the Gold Rimmed edition I purchased!!! Yeah, I have the 1070s copy of RWS and I have a Radiant Rider Waite tarot but they've been here more to round out my collection rather than because I adore the artwork. This deck however is class all the way - from the packaging to the card stock and the ink overlay, they're JUST STUNNING!!! The cards literally feel like tarot butter in your hands! The only 1 drawback I noticed is that the cards are quite slippery so watch out! They are easily dropped but I imagine with some use, that issue will resove itself. I'm hoping to buy a 2nd copy!!!

The tarot key book that comes with it is absolute garbage.As someone who wanted to learn this type of tarot, I am beyond disappointed with the book. So many misspellings and random hyphens in words that don't need them. But even more confusing, was that the upright and reversed meanings are mixed up and are stated as basically the same thing. You're better off looking up the meanings of each card online like I did.The card box is nice. The cards are extremely slippery as stated in other reviews, but are pretty. If you aren't new to this type of deck, and don't mind slippery cards, it's probably worth what I paid.

Ordered this set as a gift for a friend. Gorgeous cards, high shine & perfect for a beginner. The price point was great as well. Highly recommend & may just order a set for myself! Also comes with a stand for a one card daily pull. A nice extra touch!
