Excellent quality
Ordered this because I took an allergic reaction to the nickel in my chin rest, it works wonders! It makes practicing much more comfortable and is a really good quality.I have a central chin rest, on which this fits, and the elastic band reaches across my viola without snapping

Working very well for me
I used to use Strad Pads on my chin rest, but they are expensive and don't last me very long (they seem to sort of melt against my neck, leaving a gungy mess on the screws of the chin rest).The Vio pads are very comfortable, and I think they will last much longer. I have worked out a way to attach mine around the screws of the chin rest with a small band, as I don't like elastic bands over the corners of my instruments.

Great! Works well with full size violin.
Very happy with this chin pad. It fits well on a 4/4 violin. It is comfortable on chin and stopping violin slipping. When it gets dirty with my makeup sticking on the surface, I gently cleaned the pad with metal suede brush. Bought a second pad as spare too.

Violin chin rest
I’ve tried various pads and shoulder rests but this product has worked best for me. It’s simple, comfortable and effective. Value for money. Would recommend.

Awkward
I can see how effective the pad itself would be, but the elastic band fastening is really not suitable for use on a valuable instrument. I hope in time to modify mine so that I can attach it to two points on the chinrest clamp. Until then, I can't use the pad. Having given only two stars, I would add that, of all the similar products available, this is undoubtedly the best one.
