Installed on a customer's box truck-it works very well
Installed this on a customers Isuzu cab-over box truck- very impressed with the camera-the housing of the camera seems very sturdy. They give you more then enough wire so do not worry about that. Picture was clear and install was pretty straight forward. We had to install it high because the truck had a lift gate-but it gives a nice wide angle of what is behind you.

Nice clear picture
For the price you can't beat this camera system. I replaced my old RV backup camera with this system and it works great. Nice clear picture, you would thim\nk this was a high dollar system.

Easy backing without neck twisting
This thing is cool! After using backup cameras on my other vehicles, the thought came to mount one on my sailboat for backing out of my slip in a busy marina. This one has a large clear screen with plenty of adjustments for clear and realistic rear views and was simple to install. Now, I don’t have to take my eyes off the bow when clearing the dock, and I’m not taking chances with backing into unseen boats, dinghies or docks in that blind spot. Yeah, I know very few of my fellow boaters do this, but twisting my neck backwards to look for “stuff” is just dangerous. Good product, good display screen on the binnacle and a good value to boot.

Did not work proper and no help from manufacturer
One of the two cameras did not work and the manufacturer would not respond to the complaint. Amazon did respond but with no resolve other than to contact the manufacturer.

Not good for pickup trucks
To start, this isn't a bad rear view cam. Although the video isn't as clear as other brands I've used, it's still pretty good. My reason for 3 stars is the seller's description. It stated that this camera was compatible with pickup trucks. Well, it is and it isn't. Does it work on a pickup..yes. Is it designed for a pickup..not in the least. The first problem is the camera mount and size. It's too big to fit between the bumper and the tailgate on both my Chevy and Ford. To effectively use it for lining up a trailer hitch with a trailer tongue, the only place left to install it is with the license tag assembly. The problem is, there isn't a bracket for a tag included with this camera. I had to cut the old bracket on my Chevy and retrofit it to that. Looks pretty bad, but it works. Secondly, the seller needs to at least give the buyer a choice between the cable included with the camera or a much shorter cable for pickup trucks. I have about 15 feet of excess cable coiled up and zip tied under my steering column.Again, this isn't a bad camera, but if I had to buy another it would be one specifically made for pickups.
