As others have said, I broke the lock the first time I used it. I contacted customer support through Amazon inquiring about a replacement. They sent an entirely new kit, instead of just the key. Greatly appreciated, and that created a customer for life. Great job on the tools, but a phenomenal job on helping customers.The tool takes some dialing in to work, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. And Rockler tools make a world of a difference in speeding up techniques. If you are trying to use this type of doweling skill, then just buy this tool. You will be grateful.

When you are drilling the holes, don't push all the way through without backing out the bit. You need to clear the drill dust out of the hole before pushing completely through. Pushing all the shavings out the exit is a sure way to tear out the exit hole.

If you want to add some appeal to a wood box project, this is the tool that you need to get. A little bit of a learning curve, but well worth the end result.
