This phone is awesome. We still have a landline and a cordless phone but this one is perfect for when the power goes out because it still works. It has a really loud ringer so you can hear it anywhere in the house and the light on top is just cute. It was also really easy to use, you literally just plug it in and done.

This phone works great not as good quality as my old one then again my old one was from 1979 so of course it's going to be different other than that it works great sounds great looks great I did have to buy a longer handset cord though and I don't know how well it would work on voip because I don't use VoIP I have a traditional landline from at&t the light on top is decently bright so if it's dark and someone calls you will be able to make your way over to the phone also the bell ringer is not the same as my old one I used to be able to adjust the loudness of it this one is just loud that's all you get but if you can over look some of these drawbacks I'd say buy it it's worth every penny especially for someone that lives mostly off grid and can't really run the newer cordless phones this comes in real handy I just hope it lasts as long as my old one!

purchased by a land line telephone retiree. One should always have at least 1 corded phone for power outages, but they are really getting hard to find. Not everyone has access to or good reliable reception on a cell phone, making land lines still necessary. Regarding this phone:Pros: 1. Receiver will not easily be knocked off. 2. Receiver volume is good 3. it works!Cons: 1. why 2 longer line (flat) cords for a WALL phone--should have had a 3" cord instead. Good thing I read the contents and purchased a package of 2 separately. 2. no one who wants a wall phone wants a short receiver (curly) cord--it should have at least had a 15' receiver cord, 25 would be even better. Recognizing that, I was already prepared for that, too. 3. the ringer itself is not that loud and can only be turned off, not turned up. 4. It is definitely BEIGE. I would have preferred bone or ivory.Lastly, the packaging was terrible. The phone itself was in a very flimsy cardboard box, which was considerably torn, probably because it was placed in a plastic shipping bag with the extra cords I had ordered.

Awful. Ring has a terrible sound and the adjustment doesn’t provide enough volume levels. Cheaply made-not like the vintage phones. But I guess for the price I got what I paid for. Donating it.

We were legally obligated to put a landline in for emergency use for our community pool, and this was a perfect solution for us. We found an "emergency phone" sign to mount above it, and everything looks tip-top and professional.

Wish the red light would have worked on top, not easy to hang on the wall, otherwise it is easy to use but the sound could be more clear

When I’m in my house in New York City, my cell phone is the only number everyone calls me on but we bought a house in rural Pennsylvania and unfortunately I need a landline and since my new kitchen has splashes of red, I was able to find this retro wall phone that was easy to install on the wall plate and is durable, Beautiful to look at and the sound is unbelievable. It does come with a little light on top of the phone that lights up when the phone rings so I am presuming that it would also be good for the deaf even though I did not buy it for that reason, it came that way and I do not know if all new wall phones come with that feature because I have not had a landline in almost 20 years but this one really completes my kitchen And again it’s durable and the sound is crystal clear
