I recently purchased this dehumidifier, and it has been a game-changer for my bathroom experience. I use it before, during, and after showering, and the results are astonishing. The bathroom no longer resembles a thick cloud when I shower – it's crystal clear! While it's not a replacement for an exhaust fan, it's a powerful ally in battling humidity. This dehumidifier has become my go-to solution until I can get a fan installed. Then I can use it for my room! It’s so quiet and the look is very sleek. Very simple to use and simple to empty. Definitely a great addition to any space!

I recently purchased two of these and put one in my shop where I had noticed humidity so bad at times that there was condensation when the outdoor temperature changed (my shop is not heated), and I put the second one where I store sensitive electronics. In both places these units quietly collect a great deal of moisture from the air. They make less noise than the cooling fan on my laptop, its really barely noticeable, but there is even a low setting that is even quieter. Every few days they collect enough moisture from the air that I go ahead and dump the reservoir, but if I would ever forget, I know it will just shut off when it hits a much higher level. The units are light weight and can be put anywhere you can plug them in or can reach with an extension cord. I am very impressed and am looking to add a third one.

I scoured Amazon for a well-reviewed dehumidifer that wasn't going to break the bank but could at least control the humidity in the room I spend most of the time in in the basement (which serves as my office). For reference, I live in Michigan and humidity is a -big- problem if you're in the swampier parts of the state. Pair that with the fact this is an older home that was not fully set up to handle humidity problems in the basement, and you get soggy carpets and damp tiles.While this dehumidifer cannot handle all of the basement (nor did I expect it to), it does manage to handle my office without much issue. I've left it going for days and it's yet to reach the point where it's shut off from being full, but the room is noticeably more dry. I do occasionally have to shuffle it from one side of the rectangular room to the other to help keep the entire room dry, but it's a small price to pay. It's very quiet and it's served me well so far. Would highly recommend it, just keep in mind that this is a little guy and not one of those super full basement drying dehumidifiers.

Update#2: after contacting manufacturer directly, their customer service started to assist me. I provided order#, and even a video of the item (at their request). Then... NOTHING. They literally ghosted me after all the trouble I went to to try to get item replaced/repaired. HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I rescind any positive things said below, VERY unhappy customer.Update to my original review: As great as this worked, it also decided to QUIT working without warning after 9 months. There's literally nothing obviously wrong, it just quit working. It's not dirty, the cord is good, etc. Really disappointed this didn't last long at all....I must admit, this product was better than I expected and have seen positive results for my needs!I have some 3D printers in a Florida room that gets pretty humid. And humidity is the bane of 3D printing filament existence. So, I got this for a small (maybe 150-200 sq. ft?) room where they are because I was having issues. To my literal shock and surprise, after running this for a couple days there was a definite noticeable difference in the humidity (and thus, my filament). Attached is photo showing it's clearly drawing moisture. It's also surprisingly less noisy than I expected it to be. While the TRUE test will be when summer comes around, at least for now this has performed well for my needs.

It's narrow, tall and doesn't take up much space. Nice looking, imo. Very quiet, although the low fan speed may not move so much air. My favorite thing about it, is that it comes back on automatically if the power goes out or it gets unplugged. This is not the case with most dehumidifiers, and it's a problem for me because the power goes out frequently where I live. It does ice up, even in the low 60's, so it may be more appropriate in a warm wet environment. I just turn it off, and the ice melts off the condenser quickly. Although, this could be a problem if you want to leave it running unattended for many days.
