ECCO Men's Edinburgh Buckle Loafer

I normally wear between an 11-12 shoe depending on the brand, but I had to get the 10-10.5 in these because the 11-11.5 was way too big, and since they are loafers you can't adjust the tightness or fit. These shoes are fantastic. They look great and fit really well and I don't feel like I even need to break them in. The shoes are light and great for me because I am on my feet all day walking, and the rubber on the outside is quiet and durable. Also the insole provided by ECCO are removable, so I was able to put my custom orthotics in the shoe no problem after tossing the original insoles, but be warned because the insoles provided are glued in at the heel so you will most likely rip the insole while removing it.

These are maybe my 18th pair of eccos so 1.5-2 of the stars I'm giving are just that eccos are great shoes, but these, well, on me they were a little more narrow than i'd come to expect from size 45 ecco. The real problem is the idea of buying something so personal as shoes online. Just go to the shoe store (or wait a couple months for an amazon brick n mortar opens near you and go there, but trying them on is a big part of shoe shopping. Anyway, these felt a little cheap for ecco dress loafers, thinner and stiffer leather than this type of shoe should have. in my humble opinion, so. I returned them and that went amazingly smoothly. There's an amazing shoe store right next to the ups i dropped the shoes off. Since amazon refunded me right after the shoes were in UPS custody I went next door and found the perfect shoes, in the clearance room.

I like Ecco shoes. Nice fitting, reasonably priced, Seems like they are well made. I own 3 different styles of dress Ecco's and happy with them all. Comfortable arch as well as cushion which make a big difference when you on your feet for awhile and/or wearing the shoe all day. Not sure if they run small, but found I always buy a half size up and fit very comfortably.

I normally wear a 9.5, and have other ECCO shoes that fit well at 42. These were too large and slipped at the heel, so I got a 41. The 41 was ok for length, but was too narrow. Disappointing, because I had to send both back. The shoes look great and seem to be well-made.

Comfortable shoes but fits wider and longer than usual sizes.

First the size is not as expected... all my other shoes (Rockport, Florsheim, Dockers) are 9.5 but this one is too large at least 10-10.5. In addition the color of the shoes is to clear... not even close to the color of the picture. This is my biggest dissapointment of any purchase made in amazon.
