It's a hotplate... let's be honest here :-) And a very hot one which does exactly as it is supposed to do. I have so far done burgers, onions and bacon and eggs knowing that it has a fancy name noone cares about ;-) Beans and 'liquid' foods as such are great to so long you get prepared in advance for the remova. Be sharpe and don't let things stick and be quick to clean the plate after use to stop dark areas forming by keeping foodstuffs lingering upon cooldown.It of course get very hot as it says so be careful as this is not a 'toy'It also reheats things like kebab meat and even chips from the chippy and many things also I imagine. The control knob whilst I believed/hoped was there as a temperature gauge acts like more like a thermostat with the increments starting as very hot to very bloody hot with nothing inbetween but it is what I expected and suits me fine.To finish I find that the items suited for this plate are best used with one of those oil spray bottles so not to over saturate your food although the slip-in fat drip tray works as expected. Have fun as it's a fun product however you use it :-)

I have two different cheaper and slightly smaller then the one I purchased. They are nowhere near as good as the smaller version I bought here. I live alone so I opted for the small version and I have to say I am happy I did. It is more than enough for me and it big enough to cook for two. It's also easy to clean with no splashing of oil. A very good buy!

Now this is totally awesome for cooking with friends and family, brings everyone together at the table. Perfect for each person to cook food how they like it. Easy to use and great to clean.

Good size . Easy temperature control .Easy to clean .

This is perfect! Transfer’s heat evenly across the plate, easy to clean. This has now replaced the BBQ. No more mess.
