These are very nice boots, a bit stiff at first but like any shoe they need to be broken in first. The sole can be a bit tough I would recommend a high quality insole insert but other then that they are great. They look good, and are almost exactly the size they say they should be. I highly recommend using there size chart and measuring your feet over going with your normal shoe size. I measured my feet on a peice of paper and got the size. ( 9 ) that was just barely bigger then what my foot measured and the shoe is just barely bigger then my foot so a perfect fit. They are very well made and have great ankle support. I live in alaska so they are around a lot of snow and water and my feet are always dry and warm. A bit slippery walking around at first but after getting warn in for a week or 2 that goes away.

I am an avid deer hunter and I wanted a boot for bow season/early rifle season here in NY. I put a lot of miles on during the season and these are perfect for my needs. The price is unbeatable also. I am very happy with the comfort, the durability, and they dry super quick too! I will purchase another pair when these get wore out. Happy hunting folks!

I returned these as well l, only because my husband liked the shorter style. He loves these, my husband suffers from gout and said that these make a big difference. Only thing I’d change for the next pair would be to get him a wide. Worth the money, water resistant, he’s been wearing them for months now and they still look brand new. No wear and tear. He’s on his feet all day and says that they are super comfortable and will forever wear this brand. They don’t slip either!

First of all, in fairness to Amazon, after I received the boots, I did not wear them until a month and a half later so I could no longer return / exchange them. That said, the first time I wore them the side / front of the shoe separated. Since I could not return, I just used shoe glue to reattach. I had only used them for a couple days and not in any "off grid" situations, just normal walking around. After repairing, I went hunting with them on walking through fields with dew / previous rain, and withing 30 minutes BOTH boots, my feet were soaking wet! Definitely not waterproof, not even water resistant. Very disappointed.

Ive had these boots for about 3 months and the soles are already worn through in some spots allowing water to come up through the bottom. Other than that they are a great boot.

The media could not be loaded.  I have owned thus semi-combat boots for a couple of weeks. I endure pockets of wet areas and water puddles when taking my morning exercise. My feet stay dry. They are comfortable now that they have acclimated to my personal foot shape. I cannot testify for how durable they will be over time. Yet, they seem quite well-built. I use a long handled shoe horn to ease the placement of my feet. This is not entirely necessary but for me it seems to help get them in with less effort. Give the laces an ‘extra turn’ before finally tying them and you will find the securing of the laces to your feet will bring a better final fit after you pull to tighten the laces at the end.

I haven't worn boots in over 13 years since retiring from service. Now active in Civil Air Patrol, it was time to put some boots back on. I have knee and back problems, tend to walk with a cane, so was skeptical on boots, especially to bend over and tie. These boots have been a life saver. I have worn now 4 times for meetings. They are stiff, not overly flexible when walking, but the soles put a lot of ease on my back when walking, and find I can stand without a cane for decent period to teach. For putting on and tying, the top 3 "loops" make it easy remove the laces, put them back on, and tie. I love these, these were the boots I've been looking for post service.

For the price I paid the quality isn't that bad

Worst boots ever. Totally uncomfortable like lead weights. It water resistant or water proof. Please do not buy. Zero stars
