Works like a charm
Purchased to dispense bulk windshield washer fluid, and I couldn't imagine anything else doing a better job. I had a small fitment issue at first, I didn't realize the 55 gal drums I was using had different thread sizes on each bung. The pump fit perfectly once I figured that out. It's built to handle the cohesiveness of windshield washer, fills a gallon jug very quickly. A definite recommend from me.

Works well but must be cranked continuously (but I didn’t seal the joints so that may change).
So far it works well but with the current hose does not siphon, so must be cranked continuously. I didn’t seal the joints so that may be part of the problem. I will dismantle it and seal the joints (tape was included) to see if that makes a difference. I also want to replace the current hose with a longer one to find out if that helps. I use it for water for my plants through winter as I have softened water that is not good for plants. I keep three 55 gallon drums in the basement of rain water that I collect all summer.

Quick to assemble, simple to use, and blessedly silent.
Sometimes the best solution is the simplest. This pump is easy to assemble, easy to set up, and easy to use. No chasing after extension cords or batteries, no noise and yet it’s easy to operate and pumps quickly.

Not perfect, but so far good enough.
Yeah, the hose leaks and no amount (to date) of fussing will get it to stop. Oh well. It's also difficult to get it the bung plug clamped tightly enough to the feeder pipe so the thing won't wiggle and twist when you're pumping -- unless you're careful/gentle. You probably CAN get it tight enough, but it's at the risk of breaking it and/or stripping the threads on the clamp screw. So just be careful. But it moves water at the speed equal to my kitchen faucet and will fill a gallon jug in about ten seconds and I can work with that. The alternative is to pay 3x as much for the metal version which has complaints about very similar issues as this one.

Handle wasn’t high enough to clear the barrel didn’t fit. Would not buy again
Handle isn’t high enough to clear the barrel and although it claims to fit (meaning their adapter) 5-55 gallon drums, it doesn’t fit my 55 gallon drum. The adapter just spins and spins. Makes pumping the water out unstable and feels like your gunna break something while pumping. Reached out to customer service, they needed to know what the thread size was in my barrel, I have no idea, they wanted photos, I’m not doing that. Again, it claims to fit all. It does not. Said they’d only cover it if it was busted, it isn’t. Just doesn’t fit as they claimed. Basically blamed it on my barrel, then needed information that’s irrelevant, and refuse to take it back.

light duty
It is ok but pretty light duty. I have had it for just over a year and the hose doesn't stand up to UV rays long at all. I still use it to pump rain water out of a barrel but I can't keep the fittings tight and it moves around a lot while I'm turning the handle but it still works. I took it out and stored it last winter, it wouldn't last if it froze up.
