Q: Would this fit on a 3/4 violin?

It depends on the measurement of the space between the tailpiece and the edge of the lower bout. The chin rest is a tad over 3 1/2 " and fits perfectly on my 4/4 violin with just 2/8 of an inch space left. It's not made to go over the tailpiece so measuring is important. I hope this info is helpful.

Use a paper clip. I do it all the time.

Q: Does this fit a half size violin?

I think it does, it's actually too small for a 4/4

Q: Does this come with a screw?

No, and I really didn't like it at all. I couldn't get a return because I'm not in the US so I got screw(d) XD
