Fits a small 1 gallon perfectly
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the NICREW Slim Aquarium Filter for my 20-gallon freshwater tank, and I have been really impressed with its performance so far. The slim design of the filter is perfect for my small aquarium as it doesn't take up too much space, allowing me to maintain a clean and minimalistic look in my setup. The installation was very straightforward and the adjustable flow rate feature provided me with the flexibility to customize the water flow according to my aquarium's needs. One of the standout features of this filter is its quiet operation. I was pleasantly surprised by how silent it is, especially compared to some other filters I've used in the past. It's virtually unnoticeable, which is great for maintaining a peaceful environment for my aquatic pets and for my own enjoyment. In terms of performance, the NICREW Slim Aquarium Filter has been doing a great job of keeping the water clean. The filter media that came with it seems to be of good quality and effectively captures debris and particulate matter, leaving the water crystal clear. I've also noticed an improvement in water circulation and overall water quality since I started using this filter. The build quality is impressive, and the overall construction feels sturdy and durable. The adjustable intake tube and spray bar included in the package provided me with options to customize the filter to my specific tank setup, which I found to be very convenient.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The NICREW Slim Aquarium Filter has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to other aquarium enthusiasts, especially those with small to medium-sized tanks looking for an efficient, quiet, and space-saving filtration solution.

Good design, works well and very quiet.
Amazing little filter. Solid design, very compact and extremely quiet. I just set it up and it works very well. If it doesn't break soon, it's a really good deal for the money. It's in my son's 3-gallon tank, which was getting cloudy and murky because the old filter wasn't pumping very efficiently. After about 12 hours of this new filter working, the water is almost crystal clear. My son and his guppies are happy campers now. ;)

Horrible product /s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s/s
0 stars if I could. Horrible product! Got this filter and everything was going great, worked perfectly, until it didn't. Noticed the water level was low on my tank, so I refilled it, thought it was just evaporation because of the warm weather, but checked on it a few hours later and it was almost half empty! My aquarium is on a shelf I built specifically for it, but it's up against the wall so I can't see behind it, turns out the filter had been leaking, a lot, and got water all over the shelf, wall, and carpet floors! Had to move the entire shelf with 4 aquariums on it away from the wall to dry everything off, and now the carpets all soggy which could cause mold, so now I'm trying to dry it with a vacuum and fan, slow going but better than nothing. Will just have to stick with sponge filters from now on.Just FIY, filter had been running for a few weeks, and I never dropped it or did anything that would cause a leak, just poor manufacturing, I guess.

Small and mighty
This little thing is a beast! I bought it for my 5-gallon betta tank to replace my (3rd) Topfin fish filter after it burnt out. Not only is it practically silent once it gets going, but it is super easy to set up, just put 3 pieces together, fill it with water, and let it do its thing. The current isn't too strong, and my fish seems to enjoy taking little strolls under it. It also cleared up my water practically overnight, and I use sand as substrate. I'll have to update my review after having it for at least a month, but for now, as long as I keep the impeller clean, it looks promising.

Just do it! This is worth the cost.
This took some adjusting with the hose to get it flowing properly. It is no joke when they say it has to be ALL the way full of water in the back tank before it can cycle through (which is difficult, because without the lid on, the filter likes to pop up & out)Other than that, after getting it together, everything works beautifully! The water flow is nice and even, and the intake doesn't suck in tiny fish. My Red Eye Tetras seem to enjoy swimming under the "waterfall" it makes.I paired this with the boxtech Aquarium Air Stone Bubble Diffuser, and together they seem to be keeping the water MUCH clearer than the stuid expensive biOrb globe tank & filter we had previously.I won't be switching the filter out until Sept 20th, but imagine cleaning will be fairly easy, comparatively. Will update with photos later!
