This is a tough piece of kit and big enough to secure the bike to the stand. It's really heavy though. Fine for my e-bike but would be too heavy to lug about on my mountain bike. That said, you can feel certain that no thief is going to take the bike and if they do, the lock has insurance( there is a fee)

The lock itself is good quality, but bike thieves nowadays are able to get through any lock with the right tools. I mainly use this lock due to the size, as it allows me to secure my wheel and frame to a rack.Most other standard locks cause issues with this as they aren't long enough, whereas this lock makes it extremely easy.I use 3 d locks on my bike in the hope that if any bike thieves do come along, there happens to be a bike with one less lock than mine.

I love the attachment thing to the bike. The length of it is too big to find a good position to attach to the bike though. Still, I made it. So far so good. I like this length because it gives me more locking possibilities in the city, although it's heavier. Good steal quality. The only thing is, sometimes it's tricky to use the keys. Definitely you can't put pression on it. I Still find myself fighting to put the keys on or even take them out sometimes. For this price and for the fame of the brand I was expecting better usability.

I think you should but if will park your bike for long time. This lock is expensive and if live in normal city and park your bike for about 15 minutes, any cheaper D lock will do the work.The key stuck sometimes, and I have to try with it, the lock is brand new.

The attachment to the bike is really useful - I’ve got a hybrid so a wider bike in all aspects compared to a road bike.I like that it comes with a key with a light on.I did think it would be a bit wider (my old D-lock got stolen and could fit through a bar and my bike wheel and my frame).Of course it’s heavy but the attachment to the bike means it doesn’t cause me any issues.Realistically personally I should have just gone for something a bit cheaper.I already had a wire one that is long and flexible and the length of this one does mean i can lock the front wheel to the frame and then use the wire one to lock to anything else.I think for the money, they should also throw in the wire one for everyone else.

I spent a lot of money on this lock which soon stopped working - the key would not turn in the lock. When I took it to a bike shop, they said it was unfixable. I therefore ordered a replacement through Amazon. This second lock soon stopped working in EXACTLY the same way. Now I am not allowed to return the second one and have therefore wasted £40. Disappointed, frustrated, extremely let down by this product.

Not been tested against an angle grinder thankfully but seems very strong and locking mechanism works great.

Very secure but very large, heavy and noisy when cycling
