Warriors Graphic Novel: The Prophecies Begin #1 Paperback – 18 July 2024

I have a lot of nostalgia for the original The Prophecies Begin series, and this didn’t disappoint. A fresh take on the original story with wonderful, life-filled artwork, with streamlined action and delightful character interpretations. The only criticism I have is *spoiler* the speeding through of Fire and Ice, I felt that wasn’t covered quite as much as I would have liked, with Whiteclaw’s death being entirely cut, which is a choice I don’t fully understand. Hopefully this pattern won’t continue, as the next graphic novel will cover the third and fourth books, with Rising Storm being a particular favourite of mine.

The art style was gorgeous, it followed extremely close to the story line with minor pivots and covers 2 books! It's large and has many pages, absolutely worth more than the money spent!

Enjoyable read

I pre ordered this for my daughter as she is a massive fan of Warrior Cats and it arrived today. Delivery was much quicker than estimated which was great! It's a truly stunning graphic novel. Beautiful illustration and my daughter seems to be enjoying it so far. I got mine on pre order sale, but it is worth the full retail price definitely.

My daughter requested this for her 11th Birthday. She read it so quickly I had to buy her the next one too.
