Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF 50, 1.7 Fl Oz

This is by far the best daily sunscreen I have ever tried. It goes on completely clear and makes my usually dry face actually feel quite moisturized. I wear this every day under my daily facial lotion or under makeup. It's not the least bit greasy and it doesn't have the typical sunscreen smell. Because it's on the expensive side, I've tried switching to drug store facial sunscreens, but they tend to make me break out and feel greasy all day long. With this, you literally don't feel like you're wearing anything at all on your face, let alone a sunscreen. Because it feels so sheer, I was actually a little worried about the effectiveness of the SPF, but it works really well.

This sun screen for the face not only protects but moisturizes as well. Have been using it for quite a few years and just love it. Also Dermalogica is a product that I am not allergic too.

Cost is for brand not product. Outrageous price.

I was taking a gamble on ordering this. Usually I hate wearing sunblock (or any lotion really). I hate that greasy feeling. This goes on decent, not extra greasy, doesn't make me break out (the best point of all) and it blends into the skin really well so no one knows you're wearing sun block. The smell is pleasant, like most of the dermalogica products. I was on the fence to get it because of the price, but I'm glad I did. A couple pea size drops and you're good. This will last me a year or more, I'm sure!

It is described as 1.7 ounces but it came in little trial sizes that add up to 1.7 ounces in order to not waste the product the tiny tubes will need to be cut to get all the lotion out. Next time I will buy at ulta or a spa that sells the brand so I'm not paying for samples

I really loved the idea of being able to add some sunscreen to my favorite scented lotion, but this clearly isn't the product to do that.1. It's heavily (!) perfumed with lavender. I'm allergic to lavender. It would have been nice if there had been even a passing mention of that in the description. The "botanical extracts" in the ingredients list is obviously overly general. Bad move, Dermalogica.2. They provide no instructions on the bottle, the paper enclosure or even their website about proportions. If you want to add this to your lotion, what amount should you add to end up at a particular SPF level? Obviously if you add too little you won't get the protection you need, and at this price, it's not wise to over-use it.I'm disappointed.

not too gross or heavy feeling. I used this for the first time while in Hawaii for vacation and I didn't burn once. Now I try to use it every day mixed in my with face cream. my skin can be a little sensitive but it hasn't seemed to cause any breakouts yet

I am hyper-sensitive to scented/perfumed products, and I was a little worried about this one, but it has not been a problem at all. The scent is noticeable when you first put it on (kind of an herbal/lavender scent), but dissipates very quickly. I have worn it while doing hours of yard work and never gotten sunburned at all. Have been very satisfied with this product.
