I can agree with others that this stuff is not worth the expense as a stand-alone ramen broth. But it is a fantastic BASE for ramen broth. You definitely want to saute some onion &/or green onion &/or garlic first--maybe add meat & veggies--then dump the base in to help it out a little. That how it shines.It bridges amateur & gourmet.That said, this is a fantastic broth to add to any dish that requires a broth if you are out to impress; it has a depth and savoriness that typical chicken or bone broth can't match. I often use it 50/50 with chicken or beef broth for any recipe that requires broth. And I do mean ANY recipe. I even find a use for it in Italian cuisine & sauses. Think of it as added umami that's more sophisticated than just adding more salt or soy sauce.

Buy if you must but don’t say I didn’t warn ya…

This is what both my ramen and pho have been missing!!! The flavor just explodes on the tongue and adds the missing tang and sweetness that everyone is looking for- the balance is just right. Can't wait to experiment with other dishes!

The taste is light and the price is quite expensive for 1 bowl of ramen. There are other options to choose from.

Not very good. Product presents as a concentrate, but it's not. This is barely enough for one bowl of noodles, and the taste is mediocre at best.

makes regular ramen taste like a gourmet treat. Cannot get enough of this stuff and crave it constantly. Perfect spice level to be flavorful without being offensive to the heat challenged (my husband is not a spice lover and still loves this).
