Reliable so far!
I've fitted a few of these now to power PoE CCTV cameras, not had a failure yet and some are in not the best of environments for electronics ... (farm buildings). Hopefully they will stand the test of time.Happy to recommend them at this great price.

Full Speed Upstairs! Install can be simplified by manufacturer.
After struggling with sluggish speeds upstairs with the stock router provided by ISP I decided to bite the bullet and grab one of these. Do note that you have to physically connect to the AP with your computer and insert the correct IP settings in order to access and secure the AP. Brilliant performance so far, latest security WPA3. Getting top speeds upstairs for 1Gbps line. Avg 790mbs wirelessly. Only worth it if you have fibre and are willing to put the cable in. Would recommend. I wish they had made an app for this to make install easier.

Easy to configure AP.
WiFi Access Points are great if your router has poor coverage (mostly the ones the ISP hand out) or you have a large property - or in this instance you might need Wifi outside for your staff in certain work environments. This AP is for use internally or externally and comes with everything you need, except ironically a LAN cable! You get your AP, aerials, screws and wall plugs, two ties to strap it in and a PoE point to plug into the wall should you not have PoE available (Power Over Ethernet).Connecting this up ad-hoc (before I deploy it outside) is easy enough - you can just use the PoE it comes with to power it (the box has a LAN and PoE connector so you know what plug goes where as it is clearly labelled). The default IP is the same as my actual router - so I used an iPhone to access it (setting the IP manually as you will need to - it states this clearly in the documentation). Once connected you can gain access to the settings, including setting this device to be assigned by DHCP. Each frequency (2.4 and 5) has 8 SSID's to them (16 total), meaning you can have a LOT of users connected. You can also limit the bandwidth to 10mb per client which may be all you need.Options - and there are plenty - are easily accessible - be it from having Guest enabled (disabled by default) to whatever encryption you need for connecting. Firmware can be updated via the UI and you can set the time/locale as well directly (once set, it sets to check every 30 minutes but that's configurable too).It works well though and is very easy to configure - it's arguably aimed more for external usage for large numbers of connections but - as said - if you need it outside, it's definitely good for that. Signal strength didn't seem to be an issue either. I can't fault it from being configurable or easy to use - I just can't believe there was no RJ45 cables in the box!!!

Horrible UI that just doesnt work
The device works out of the box, but that is an Open network with no security. I was completely unable to access the UI, by entering the 192.168.0.254 as printed on the back of the unit, nothing happens, the page simply times out. No matter how many attempts, on various computers/phones, the device admin page just wouldn't load, which is a shame as the speed to the connection was great, however it is simply not acceptable that their own tech support doesn't provide clear guidance and when calling Tenda tech support, no one answers. Overall, the product looks nice, but the UI is buggy. For reference, I am an not new to network configs.

Works as it should
Worked out of the box. Great little stable Poe switch with a reliable power brick.

Reliable access point
This is a viable option for anyone wanting to ensure they have a smoother wifi connection, it's much more better than stock and the coverage outside in terms of range is an upgrade. Good thing about this is that it's simple to configure the access point.

Good, but not as good as I'd hoped.
Understanding the setting up was a bit of a challenge, but I managed it after a while. Using it as a remote AP to extend my wifi across the garden, but while it fills a few gaps in the coverage the range is little better than my DECO mesh network indoors. Actual range I'm seeing is about 50m max, far less than the quoted 200m.

interface de configuration simple. Excellent .

Running smoothly for 6 months.
Very easy set up. A little on the pricer side. Get the next higher capacity, if you plan to connect upto 8 IP cameras. Running smoothly.
