Wonderful option for the glass-handling impaired
When I originally acquired this, it was such a good value I thought I’d ‘take a chance’ just to see how well it was made. I’ll give you the punchline early: I ordered a second one.My partner is a master at shattering glass, and those containing alcohol even more so. I ribbed them about getting this, but after we received it we were both sufficiently impressed to make it a matching set. The polish is excellent, they’re durable, sanitary, and while they seem to sweat a little more than glass with cold liquids, it’s not really a big deal and somehow seems to enhance the effects of the stainless anyways.A great option. We’re now looking to see if we can find other style variants, too (e.g., martini, margarita, red wine, etc.)

GoT meets Great Gatsby.
If you want to let your inner medieval lord/lady and toast friends and foes with mighty strength while still drinking the refined nectar coming from Champagne, this flute will protect your bubbles for sure.Base of the flute is wide enough to provide lot of stability while the flute itself is of normal size. The outside of the flute is polished/smoothed while the inside still displays the mark of machinery so it may or may not be good for the bubbles circulation. I am still on the fence for that one. There were some marks also on the stem but it's minimal and right at the edge where the flute/body meets the stem so when it's in your hand, you won't see any. Now, I should have realized it was just one flute. I need to order another one for proper, equal, robust toasting.

The ad speaks in plural terms. One champagne flute is all that is being offered.
What I like - attractive cup, well made. It's a nice item to have . . . and I'd love to have a set of eight. What I don't like - Here is the title of the ad: "Stainless Steel Champagne Flutes- Reusable Indoor and Outdoor Champagne Flute- Unbreakable Toasting Champagne Glasses- Wedding Champagne Flutes- Elegant Drinking Glasses- Champagne Flutes by Cookway". Notice the plural. FLUTES. GLASSES. Each time I read the ad, I wondered how many were being sold. The price was good - $6.99 each with a 50% coupon, so it's not a bad price even for one glass, but it sure wasn't obvious. I ordered it. It came. One. One FluteS. One GlassES. Plural ad, singular delivery. So that was my biggest question - if it's plural, how many are there? The answer was that it's not plural at all. One item only. I hope that helps anyone hoping to obtain a set of these to know what to expect and how many to order.

Beautiful and useful
FIrst off, I love how shiny it is! I'm always a sucker for shiny things, especially silver, but I was expecting this to be a dull silver like the inside of those coffee tumblers but I was pleasantly surprised. Second; I love that i can pop it into my freezer for a little while and then add my cold wine to it and it stays cold for longer than glass as long as you don't hold the cup part for too long. I was able to hold it by the stem for a while and it still stayed cold just fine. Its super easy to wash as well, just like regular glasses. I didn't see anything about if it was dishwasher safe or not so I'm just going to stick with hand washing it

Perfect for picnics!
I got this for two reasons - I like to have a glass of wine at a picnic, and also I have a very clumsy friend who snaps wine stems all the time. This baby is unbreakable, so perfect for at the park. The rest of the time, this is the “special” glass for my friend when she comes over. The shape is like a proper wine glass (not like those weird insulated stemless cups) and the metal keeps drinks cool. Good buy. Wish it came in a two-pack.

A novelty, but a nice enough one
This is definitely a novelty product, and not something to go for if you actually want good champagne flutes. I weirdly like it though? So, cons first -Price: At time of writing, these are $6.99 each. You can buy a glass champagne flute (full size - 9.5oz) at World Market for the same price, and as a purely functional object it will be better. If you start looking at sets (especially of roughly comparable 6oz flutes), you can get significantly cheaper.Weight: It's not heavy, it's just weirdly weighted. Topheavy even when empty, and VERY topheavy when full. Makes it weird to pick up and drink from.Neutral points -Size: It tells you in the description, this holds 5.7oz. (Although you can get 6oz in pouring to about half an inch below the rim, and still pick it up without spilling.) Champagne flutes are usually somewhere between 6 and 10oz, and most of them seem to be 9 or 9.5oz. So this is on the smaller side, but the description is not deceptive about that.Stability: As noted in cons, it's weirdly topheavy, and awkward to pick up. But it's surprisingly stable sitting on a flat surface given the weighting. Not actually sure how it manages that. But I was expecting it to tip over at the slightest nudge, and it doesn't. Still worse than a glass one in that respect, but not miles worse.Pros -Novelty: Yeah, it's a gimmick. But you could engrave this and send it home with me from a wedding and I'd be super on board with it. Even without engraving, I'd be on board with it, especially if it meant not using those crappy plastic flutes for the evening.Shiny! Honestly, I think this is the biggest point in its favour. I wish I was kidding, but apparently I am 37 crows in a human suit, and I just really like that it's shiny. I know it's worse than a glass one. But I like it. Because it's shiny.

It is certainly unbreakable.
We have an assortment of metal cups, so this one fits right into the collection. I personally don’t enjoy using it, as I find glass much more pleasant to drink from in that shape, but my husband loves it and my kids fight over it (probably because they can use it since it’s not glass). It’s not a bad addition to our collection and would be perfect for a picnic or camping if you wanted to include a fancy element or drink.
