Sturdy
Actually, used it to wrap a deck carpet and store for the Winter. Worked really well.

Great but rip easy.
This was great for the size however, I wish it was much sturdier. We kept getting rips and tears.

Very thin
It's so thin and small and it tears so easily. This thing should be $2.

Very thin. Durability questionable. At best average plastic cloth for painting.
Fortunately, these arrived late so I had to go to Home Depot for my planned paint job to pick up plastic drop cloths for painting a bathroom. These arrived mid-painting on the day of my planned job so I used them and had a chance to compare them with the ones from Home Depot I was using. These are average best. The first thing you will notice is that they are extremely light, and secondly that they are extremely thin. I know the description says they are durable but a lot happens during paint jobs and these can tear if you aren't careful. Will they do the job? Yes absolutely. For a nice price too.But will they also have failure/holes occasionally? Yes - seems likely.I would rate this a 3 for average. Workable and usable, but you will tangibly feel the durability and thickness difference.

Great value
The first thing that I noticed was that these drop cloths are VERY thin. This scared me until I took one out of its package and tried it. The material is not the stretchy, flimsy plastic that it first appeared to be. It is a surprisingly strong, non stretchy material that is thinner but similar to Tyvek (I can't tell you exactly what the material but it has that sort of strength.) In other words, it will last reasonably when one is walking around on it while working. These are not going to be lifetime sort of drop cloths, at under $2 each, that isn't the idea. These are semi disposable, use them once (or a few times) and just toss them if they get too messy or torn. For a homeowner who occasionally does a painting job, this is a good fit. The size is good, my initial project is a bathroom and this is pretty much exactly what I need. The thinness actually turns out to be a plus in my case because the plastic molds itself when places over the sides of a tub.One small hint. Since the material ls light, it is probably a good idea to tape the corners or an occasional place along the sides so that it doesn't accidently get lifted up if you shoes are damp (or have a dab of paint on them - I'm not the neatest painter!)All-in-all, a great value and I have some left over for the next project.

Very, very thin
I didn't expect too much from these given their price, but I did expect more that what I received. This is by far the thinnest plastic sheet I've ever seen. It's much like tissue paper, but made from plastic. I measured the thickness of the bag these come in, and I found that to be about 1.5 mils. I would have been very happy with that thickness in the drop cloth. These drop cloths are so thin I can't get a reading on my tools, but I would guess somewhere around 1/8 of a mil. Maybe less. These drop cloths are not going to stand up to much. I'm sorry I got them.

Great to protect floors and other surfaces while painting
These drop cloths are a great size and though they are thin they are thick enough that I don't worry about holes being worn in them. They worked well to help me cover the floors as well as some furniture while painting my living room. A much better alternative compared to the thick tarps of the past.
